still white and offwhite shades even after a long gap. M bedroom is too simple, bathroom tiles ok, kitchen ok... flooring good,,,

As much as I love color in a home (if you saw my home you would see what I mean) I really did not like the green tiles in the big bathroom. Just my opinion that's all.
@ginacrusco23427 минут бұрын
I love your approach to this one, making use of as many existing features as you can and focusing the budget on most-needed upgrades. Kudos for keeping the kitchen cabinets, tub, and existing green accent tile. All the color choices are A-1; my only caveat is that the dark green main bathroom tiles sit awkwardly beside the dark gray floors. Otherwise: love!
@ProudNana78Сағат бұрын
I know you had budget constraints but definitely should’ve changed the faucets on the tub in the main bathroom to match the sink and shower fixtures and all of the white grout on the black tiles is a no for me but overall it was a nice job working with what you had.

Tile in primary bathroom is gross. doesn't match anything in the house . What happened to consistency?
@Pambo101Сағат бұрын
I think you should have went with the hunter green tile in the bathroom, cohesive design…. I do like the way you did the tile, just not the color. Actually went better with the original 90’s house. All in all, good job.😊

Just my opinion if I'm buying a new home I would hate those colors of green because then you have to make all your decor around that I like white gray and black that way I could choose any style when it comes to design

@@darealmicah7525 , I know what refaced means. But refacing them would be added cost, plus they would still have to be painted. That would be an unnecessary expense with no financial gain.

I used to babysit in this house back in the late 70s/early 80s. A super awesome family lived there then (obviously BEFORE the free-spirits with paint brushes moved in). I would babysit most every weekend, and I remember watching Dukes of Hazard right there in the living room. Those were the days! I wish you hadn't painted the WHOLE exterior black. That stone is prized in Austin. You could have just used a black accent for trim. Hopefully it can be pressure washed off someday.

Nice finishes and staging! Personally, I like defined spaces as long as they flow well. I think the new layout is awkward. For all that space you only have room for a small sofa.
