Was disappointed as well with what the mosaic guys did initially in the bathroom. My favorite room has to be the repurposed cottage. Well done!

Brilliant Flip as usual 🔥🔥 Loadshedding is loadshedding lol but there's a great opportunity to get a solar sponsor for the channel. Adding solar to every flip will increase demand and market value for the properties. I'm sure there are some solar companies that would love to partner or sponsor the channel. I know the pain of losing your home to fire. I share the previous owner's pain. Ours perished on Easter Sunday 2022 & again another fire broke out the following week & completely put our home in ashes. You really never expect something like that and being not insured because of financial constraints, just puts you down completely. You really thankful that no one got hurt, because a life is irreplaceable.

This house had so much potential. I'm so glad you chose it and made it spectacular. I'm American and renovations here are so different. Even the names for things are different even though we both speak English. I have a question about the security. This nice of a renovation in the states would only make sense in a nice area of town profit wise. However, adding a higher fence,and electric fencing there makes me wonder is this in a high crime neighborhood? It seems so extreme. In America, I've never seen electric fencing on a residential backyard. We use it for cattle farms and prisons. Haha.

I never really understood the thing of not having an outside wall or a gate in America, don't you guys have high murder rates as well. I see so many videos of people just kicking the doors down or trying to on those door cams yall have that side.

This was a great flip. The old design of random walls and pink walls was just awful. Even in clothing, not everyone can pull off pink. Why put it all over the house. You did a great job and brought this house to the new century.👌🏾❤🇿🇦

It would be interesting to see your calculations re the Dollar conversions. Exchange rate doesn’t work well for this. Hope you know what I mean? Looking at cost comparison of Rand to USD, PPP (purchasing power parity) is more useful. Actual spend. For example, when we lived in the USA from 2016 onwards, we found it was around $1 to R3 or so. But then, add labour costs. Huge!! Also their timber went through an issue while ours didn’t. Now we’re facing enormous steel price hikes. Interesting. To add a bit of feistiness - get Oz to weigh in 😉

The air bricks serve the purpose of ventilating the house. Modern houses get mould because they cannot breathe properly. A feature very much missing in UK homes where we need them most. 😀😀

Thanks. The interior wall paint used was: Dulux Rockgrip Soft Velvet in 'Designer Grey' colour. The interior floor tiles are: CTM Dover Grey Ceramic 600x600
