Yasuke, unlike all the previous AC protagonists, actually existed in history. Samurai or not, it's irrelevant, AC games were never known for their accurate historical representation. While Naoe, another protagonist is still a native. Yasuke is a 7ft tank, and brings out completely opposite gameplay style compared to Naoe's stealth oriented gameplay. He is how you can enjoy the recent rpg aspect of the game while the og AC fanbase gets Naoe. Not only you are not being forced to stick to any specific character, you are also getting an option, two different game styles through a perspective of a Shinobi and Samurai, with completely separate talent, weapons and ability stack. As a gamer, if you are still whining, then it's obvious who's riding a political agenda here with nothing at stake..

If ur so called UBISOFT was this good to begin with then why did they delayed the game after an extensive backlash , also care to tell me why their first AAAA game SKULL & BONES was a total disaster even though singapore govt funded that game which brings the total budget nearing around 750M $ to 1B $. How about Avatar : Frontiers of Pandora or Star Wars : Outlaws , why did they failed ? Reason is simple unnecessary self-insertion and identity politics.
