Watch Full Interview: • Carl Jones on The Boon...
Part 2: • Carl Jones on Becoming...
--------
Carl Jones, the co-executive producer and artist of popular television series, "The Boondocks," offered a comprehensive look into his development and ascent in the world of visual arts. With his talent evident from a young age, Jones was encouraged by his father, an artist himself, to hone his skills. As a youth, Jones developed a reputation for his drawing abilities, even charging his peers to create images of pop culture icons like Prince and Michael Jackson. His talent was officially recognized in grade school when he entered a gifted and talented art class.

I think alot of people couldn't deal with how real it got at times.. the teacher says the Nword episode is a classic. When you see Riley and grandad made sure he put the glasses on before the interview. The look on his face when they asked him "did you say the n word first?" Is so spot on to how the real interview went. It was always very real to the things it referenced
