Great video I traded my rare Yamaha MT01 in a few months ago for my 2015 Valkyrie 1800 I love it what a machine , I didn’t need all the Goldwing long distance stuff..here in Scotland I’ve never seen another super rare…anyway subbed and liked.

Great video! I own a black one just like yours (and have my own channel where I post videos on it). All the weaknesses you pointed out are accurate. But, I still love the bike. I've added just about every accessory one could want to make it more comfortable and practical. I plan to keep it for a long time, and if I ever were to upgrade, it would ONLY be to a Gold Wing. I can't think of any other bike that would interest me to own as my only bike.

Lovely narration on a rare bike Marshall, It's tempted me to keep a look out for one over here, though they're nearly double the price in the UK at £11,450. I didn't know they did a 1500cc version, and that's about £5,500. As usual, beautiful countryside to ride through.

The Rocket 3 is about 50lbs lighter, faster, but has traction control so you won't spin the tire at green lights like the Valk. The Valk can spin tight u-turns in a street though due to its thinner tires. A passenger will be more comfortable on the Valkyrie, and it never gets hot. The Rocket gets hot on a hot day, like sitting on a BBQ grill. You can blame Euro 5 emissions for some of that heat. The Valkyrie doesn't submit.

Oh man. Our tastes in bikes are too close. A local used shop near me has a 2014 Valkyrie with under 16,000 miles for about $9000. It has hard bags and passenger backrest, and I'm sorely tempted to add it to my garage if it's still there in the spring. Orrrr I use the "hey it's nearly winter, there's no way you're going to sell that for months" ploy to try to get another grand off....
