I got accepted in nursing school this month and very excited about going. I have been a cna for over 24 years and I was trying nursing years ago but had to stop because of my daughter health issues at the time. Thank God that she is better and now I can go back to finish. Thank you for the tips because I was wondering about the nursing school itself now I know I need to save a lot of money to live on incase I have to stop working to finish

I'm 48 already graduated college as a paralegal. Became a CNA and a PCA. Now I want to do nursing. My GPA in college was 3.78. Living in Fort Lauderdale and trying to find a nursing school. Did Physical therapy assistant in the early 90's ended up getting married and having children. Now my children are grown and I want to become a nurse. It has always been a calling for me. @@saramcgaha1406 wow thanks. Your experience is inspirational. Let me ask you a question. Do you think one can work as a nurse if one has been diagnosed with face joint degeneration, osteoarthritis in both knees and in the lumbar vertebrae. Multiple herniated and buldging disks. I'm practically confined to the floor.

Hi Courtney! I finished my first week of Nursing School this week. I can definitely relate to your first day of classes, and journey with Organic Chemistry, because the same happened to me. I am considering taking a gap year to review to Anatomy and Physiology and Patho as well as get my mental health/mindset together prior to starting. I wanted to know your thoughts on if taking a gap year was a smart move or not? I'm 21 right now.
@Iamcourtneynoel2 жыл бұрын
Hi Mikenzie, I think that depends on you and your circumstances. Whatever you decide is best for you is goos! Just make sure you get it done! Sometimes small breaks lead to even bigger breaks and you look around and 5 years have gone by. So do what’s best for you just dont forget your goal! 💕
