I work in restaurants and kitchens. I've been doing that for 20 years. On my feet 10 - 12 hours a day. I've been following this group for a while, and they haven't steered me wrong yet. I highly recommend checking out their other exercises and finding out what helps you best.

If you have sciatica, this move is not recommended. Instead of bringing the foot back, don't flex the foot but let it neutral and then you are only stretching the hamstring and not pressing into the low back sciatic area.
