Thank you so much for this! So many people have been mistyped because of the stereotypes the functions have gotten over the years, such as "they are an Ne user because they are quirky, wacky, and funny" or "Te user because bossy and yelling at people". MBTI type is how you naturally perceive the world, take in information, and make decisions. Not necessarily behavioural traits or characteristics that anyone can have.
@Just_Rusted
@Just_Rusted 2 ай бұрын
Behavioural typing especially in MBTI can lead to mistypes especially if you don't know how to tell the differences between the same behaviour coming from different functions so that kind of thing is risky, it's good to also know what are the behavioural manifestations but in my opinion, that will come SECOND to understanding what the function is in all actuality. We see too many people typing anyone philosophical, deep and even sure of their philosophy as Ne dom or Ni dom, reality is, it is not related to a function, Se dom can be commited to a philosophy of life that they want to follow as much as a Te dominant, we don't type by hyperspecifics, we look at the big picture and then go from there.

Big thanks for this video. It really needed to be done. I see WAY too many Fi users typing themselves as Fe users because they don't realize their interpretation of feelings is based on an internal point of view sometimes, so you'll have some who will claim to know how you feel when it's just a guess. Fe looks at how people feel first to take notes and pays attention to trends, popularity, stuff like that to get an accurate idea of what the community thinks. Also thanks for precising Ni. People think it as magical bullshit while it's just very in depth observation in order to predict, nothing more. Watching and listening instead of acting. People use Ni daily every time they guess or recognize how life is going and they don't even realize that ! People just don't know how to identify this function and what is related to it because it's not publicly valued in society whatsoever.

Great video as usual man I find it hilarious that so many characters people believe are Ni dominant are almost always either Ti or Ne base. The "INTJ" is always either an LSI or ILE (and I'm looking forward to vids on both of these types!)
@Just_Rusted
@Just_Rusted 2 ай бұрын
A lot of cleaning up we got to do here, the case for the INTJ LSI exists because they see a badass silent and introverted character so are likely to type him as INTJ even tho he shows no actual cognitive orientation towards Ni.
@CRIMS0N_KING
@CRIMS0N_KING 2 ай бұрын
@@Just_Rusted For sure. The "INTJ" villains fall into the badass, silent doer (LSI) or the idea maker, seeing the potential in his grand idea/plan/scheme (ILE) neither of which represents Ni base at all. I feel ILE is important to add because the "INTJ" hero is often just an ILE. Like Gandalf or House
@Just_Rusted
@Just_Rusted 2 ай бұрын
ILE INTJ is beyond me, i can understand LSI but ILE? That's crazy, like even superficially those two concepts don't overlap lmao, behaviourally they're extremely different.

i think the Ni description is lacking, Ni is almost like advanced pattern recognition that can figure out how things work on a conceptual level and re-apply that concept to the changing variables making it easier to predict the outcome. almost like using the function in math on different values of X.

Sukuna and Yuji Itadoi are ENFP /IEE (also Mahito, he say itadori and him are the same) , two side of the same coin .Aoi Todo is ESFP/SEE. Jujutsu Kaisen Wiki Sukuna Personality Sukuna is selfish, narcissistic, cold-hearted, immoral, and exceptionally sadistic. When he was reincarnated shortly after Yuji ingested his finger, he commented, implying the slaughter of women and children and likening them to maggots crawling around. Due to his immense power, he rarely cares about the consequences of his actions, even if these affect his host. In fact, he frequently taunts and insults Yuji, calling him a brat and even laughing at or enjoying Yuji's despair on multiple occasions. By his own admission,👉 Sukuna doesn't have dreams, goals, or aspirations to work towards👈(ignoring Ni), while the jujutsu sorcerers fighting him do and grow stronger because of it. 👉Sukuna is an immense glutton, not only for actual food, but for fighting and bloodshed👈 (suggestive Si). Because of this, he tends to draw out his fights with strong opponents even if it would be wise to finish up his fights quickly. Sukuna is aware of his immense power and is quite arrogant about it, brutalizing a finger bearer while being patronizing and proclaiming his superiority over it. For this reason, he is highly dismissive of his opponents and rarely takes them seriously, even explicitly stating he would kill Satoru Gojo to his face. However, these brutish traits are not to be confused for stupidity. Sukuna is highly intelligent and manipulative, taking Yuji's body hostage by tearing out his heart to force him into a binding vow.[5] 👉He has also displayed the ability to acknowledge and praise his opponents👈 (Ne Dom), as shown by how before killing Jogo Sukuna acknowledged his strength despite having completely overpowered him and told Jogo that he should be proud.[6] While he is observative when it comes to jujutsu, 👉he's displayed a lack of interest in the modern world's technologies👈(Ti polr/Blindspot) and foods, glancing at Nanako Hasaba's smart phone used for her technique and refers to it as a phone with a camera, showing that he doesn't pay attention to the modern age aside from jujutsu.[7] Through Sukuna's conversation with Yuji during their fight after possessing Megumi's body, Sukuna espouses that he likens human beings to insects and admits he is unable to comprehend why the weak cling so desperately to life instead of quietly accepting the suffering that life forces them to endure since the weak should have no right to complain. He also claims that he doesn't understand how a creature that falls apart at a touch can say that it always wants to be happy, which expresses his antipathy and disregard of human emotions and their will to live.[8] It also reveals that Sukuna's perception of life adheres strongly to social darwinism. It is also repeatedly stated that Sukuna has a myopic view on love and does not comprehend the value of relationships.[9] Stemming from this mindset, Sukuna is enraged by anyone pitying him or offering him mercy, as he bases his identity on being the strongest and views such acts as considering him weak. 👉Yuji's existence affects Sukuna in a way he can't ignore👈, no matter his efforts. Due to the nature of his initial incarnation within Yuji, Sukuna is unable to disregard how Yuji himself challenges his worldview by being Sukuna's opposite and invalidating his views. 👉This fills Sukuna with a hatred that he can't describe, unlike anything he has ever felt👈(Fi).[10] His constant belittlement of Yuji and refusal to consider him a threat in spite of knowing that Yuji is the son of Sukuna's reincarnated twin brother exemplifies this.[11] This is compounded when Yuji offers Sukuna one last chance to surrender out of mercy and Sukuna is enraged by the pity Yuji shows him.[12]

Good video but why didn’t you mention about se being about force having values such as discipline etc,ik this is mbti and not socionics but this would help ppl a lot more with understanding se types as i see male ESIs and EIEs being mistyped as entp jus cuz of their se being confused for se suggestive/inferior
@miyeoluv7940
@miyeoluv7940 2 ай бұрын
your descriptions sound very similar to socionics’ elements tbh, especially with ni and passage of time like you mentioned. when it comes to mbti a lot of people prefer to talk about them outside of their practical implications, like trying to explain what kind of processes are going on in the brain when the function is being used (which can be very confusing tbh), are you mixing them up a bit by any chance? i’m not that familiar with actual mbti theory from briggs themselves though so i might be wrong and they are actually that similar
@Just_Rusted
@Just_Rusted 2 ай бұрын
I believe passage of time is already something that MBTI people talk about, after all, they have this bad tendency to overtype anyone who thinks ahead as Ni dom, so they have some understanding that it is related to time in some way. To make this video, i based it on Gifts Differing as a major framework which would be the official source for MBTI, of course i am trying to add my understadning to it also that comes from socionics experience in order to pain a fuller picture that i think can be beneficial

Is there even a point in trying to improve your execution of a cognitive function you're supposedly bad at? I'm an Eii and I struggle with Se quite a bit, which makes me feel a bit slow and unproductive. I've noticed I feel intrigued by Se users and displays, but also completely repulsed and turned off by it entirely once I try to engage. So I guess the real question here is - how should one approach productivity, taking action, and pursuing tangible goals when having weak Ti and especially Se?
@Just_Rusted
@Just_Rusted 2 ай бұрын
Well, action, productivity, all of this is related to Te in a sense WHAT kind of action you should take, that is Extraverted Thinking, as EII you are very opened to this function, you need more of this in your life. How does EII learn Te? by recieving Te related information that benefits them and solves their problems, nowadays we have google, we have youtube, it's Te heaven showing what steps and how actions should be done, that is very helpful. There is no really such thing as being good with your Se as EII, it will always feel uncomfortable when engaging in it, you can have a lot of Se information but it doesn't mean you are good at the function, what i mean by that is that because of experience, following the norms in this function, you might know what looks good and what doesn't based on accepted aesthetics norms but that is where it ends, you will always lack indepdendence here and it will always be uncomfortable engaging in this element.
@fleurwings6973
@fleurwings6973 2 ай бұрын
Thank you! Do you also think that I will always have issues with heavy Se users? I tend to find them attractive, but also barbaric and crude (probably due to the Se vulnerable). I know that as an Eii I should be looking for a "daddy", but I'm not sure how this really looks like and which functions it includes ( I assume Se and Te)
@Just_Rusted
@Just_Rusted 2 ай бұрын
What you need the most is Te, Se in of itself doesn't have to be an issue for you but it is about how the element is applied that can either bother you or feel okay, an Se base who has concious Se like the SLE will bother you with their Se while an LSE who has unconcious demonstrative Se won't.

Sometimes, to explain functions, I just get lazy and say; Xe = literal Xi = subjective And then i walk away feeling really sigma about it when in reality it causes disasters because I have too much faith in people 😎 So thanks for making this video! 🔥
@Just_Rusted
@Just_Rusted 2 ай бұрын
Indeed it is a simplistic way to tell the difference and if you understand the system well you can easily pull this off but I have seen many people be aware of this distinction and yet confuse functions, sometimes i believe things like this pseudo science has to be explained in depth and with specific examples for people to truly understand it, i mean, we're trying to see how a cognitive function manifest without any physical evidence whatsoever, all based on interpretation and perception, it can be tricky.

I would use Near as an example of an Introverted Thinker, not Levi. Using Levi would mislead people to associate him with Ti when that notion is already debunked for him, plus Near is much more unambiguously an example of Ti. Also, your description of the Intuitive functions isn't really holistic, sure, IN could deal with the passage of time as well as deeper meanings, but why do they do this in the first place? Is it because of an unconscious association with the primordial archetypes that exist in the psyche of Introverted Intuitives in which the notion of time always changes and is in itself time squared?
