I have been having panic attacks and tachycardia, and knowing it is me the one who needs to face and overcome then, I decided to smile while I am having them. I smile while I feel my heart racing and I smile while I think "What if something happens to me today?" I keep smiling throughout the whole process. I am sharing this here in case it is useful for someone else. Smiling sends a signal to the brain that everything is ok. Thanks, Katrina :)

Thank you for this video! I am still feeling a little rough, but you helped me feel some hope when I realized my chest had stopped burning for a few minutes. I had a major anxiety attack that went on for weeks a couple years ago. I made some life changes, started medicine, and did some intensive therapy that changed my life. I have felt such contentment that I never thought possible, as a result of my body refusing to function until I changed my life to truly suit me. But I ignored some warning signs recently that built up to an anxiety attack starting last night, triggered by something that reminded me of a major trauma from 2 years ago. I am glad for the comment about cutting caffeine. I LOVE coffee, but I can tell it amps me up. I've Also been dealing with a lot of pressure at work and home, MUCH of it self imposed. I am a caffeine fueled Wonder Woman, but I realize I've become out of balance again. As agonizing as the anxiety spells are (worse than childbirth), once they pass (sometimes they take their sweet time) I try to find the lesson there and address what my body was trying to tell me. I am not through this one yet, but feel like I might be working my way out. This video and reading comments from others in the same situation has helped a lot. You are not weak, you are not alone, and you can get through this.

I have recently started getting severe panic attacks and two days ago I had the worst one yet. I had been given medication to help alleviate them, but the one that I was taking wasn't working for this last attack. For two days straight my chest was tight and it wouldn't go away. After working through this routine I finally feel like I can breathe freely and the chest tightness is gone. Thank you for making this video!

Usually for my panic attacks, what I do is I lay in the back yard, and imagine my least favorite color, yellow, as the negativity rushing out of me into the earth, while mother nature takes care of that energy, and sends my favorite color, blue, up into my body as showing positivity. I'm an 11 year old with severe anxiety, and even though I've had it since I was around 7-8 years old, I don't know how to handle it that well, so my mother showed me the colors. However, my panic attacks have been getting worse than before, so the colors aren't helping much. I sometimes won't even have a pre-panic attack, I'll just start freaking out. That's why I rushed here, and I'm very grateful for this video, because it's giving me an opportunity to calm down quick and actually be able to sleep! Thank you so much!

I started having these episodes of panic and paranoia a little over a month ago that would last for hours. I would convince myself that the most outlandish and horrible things would happen and it would be all my fault. They let up for a while but then I woke up a couple nights ago in the midst of a really bad episode that lasted for over an hour. Today I’ve been struggling to keep my peace and every little thing has me on the verge of another episode, but watching and following this helped so much. I feel at peace and I was able to reason with myself and my invasive thoughts. I have a session with a new therapist lined up for a few days from now, but in the mean time I will be coming back to this video to keep cool.

I have wanted to get back into my practice as I have been recovering my mental health, but haven’t been able to start. I have been feeling so disconnected from my body and overpowered by the whirlwind of thoughts and fears in my mind. I heard a tiny thought suggest in my busy mind, “ see if you can find a flow for panic attacks”, and I found you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Last year saw me through a severely traumatic experience that threw me so far from myself; it feels like I’m learning to walk again. In a sense, I am, my body feels stuck in that state trauma and the hardest part has been dealing with the aftermath - the healing. No one tells you that sometimes the healing can be more painful than the wound. That pain, sadness, grief doesn’t just exist in your mind, for me, my body took the biggest blow. I couldn’t sit with myself like this and let the pain come forward so that I could face this monster I was frantically trying to avoid. Turns out it’s not as scary when you volunteer to go there. This video took me there, I felt like I was holding myself like you would a loved one. I haven’t felt that safe and grounded and regulated in so long. Thank you so much, really…thank you ❤

awesome, it helped so much. I was diagnosed with generalized anxiety several years ago. started yoga 6 years ago, it helped so much. I then let myself get to busy and the anxiety came back. I now plan to make it a part of my everyday life again.

You really helped me. I was diagnosed with PTSD about 3 years ago. Like many, I just laughed it off and self medicated .it got worse. Your simple excercise helped me calm right down. Thank you xxc

Thank you so much for this video. I’ve suffered horrible anxiety for years and it can take hours for an attack to pass but with your video I was calm in 10 minutes I haven’t ever been able to calm down so quickly and smoothly before. I appreciate this video so much and will definitely use it again when my next anxiety attack hits

I am a new driver to the roads and suffer from severe anxiety and panic attacks, especially when it comes to driving. Today I was in my first car wreck while being behind the wheel. It threw me into a panic attack and I made it to the point as to where my breathing stopped and I began to dry heave. No one was injured but my mind was a mess. Once I made it home safely I struggled to calm myself and looked to your videos to help me as they have in the past. Thank you for saving me from my mind and soothe my nerves. You are my saving grace.

maybe try to watch the video without volume and just follow her? you could turn on your own peaceful music if you wanted. maybe that may help? or memorize the sequence after watching it a few times without volume.

Panic attacks get so bad that I get severe back and chest pain, with heart racing to 140+bpm sometimes. Then I get dizzy and my arms go numb. Then I feel like I can't breathe. I like the hands on chest part... the weight is nice... and the breathing longer and longer... that is way better than constantly holding your fingers on your pulse and freaking out even more. Thanks!! Bookmarked. Subscribed!
