Thank you for all the catch-up info. For several reasons, my pagan way has been in limbo for many years. Watching and listening to you go over the natural qualities of magical witchcraft encourages me to set up my magical space again and get busy. Over the years, I have collected almost all of the things you have in your 'apothecary' and they lie waiting for me to revive my practice. I taught Witchcraft 101 in my home for over a year, but that was 22 years ago...I miss being immersed in that frame of mind, body and soul. Thank you again for the inspiration. Blessed Be YOU. :-D

Awww that is absolutely beautiful for me to hear! I am so glad to hear that my postings have reinvigorated your flame! We definitely all go through hills and valleys in our practice and it's so nice to hear that I had an impact. 22 years ago! Wow, that must have been an incredible study for your students... I feel very lucky to now be in the technical age that we are because it makes it so much easier for us to find like minded people to share experiences with. Even 10 years ago when I started it was not so easy to find information and people to bounce spiritual ideas off of. You are most welcome for the inspiration and I thank you for watching and giving me that confidence boost! Blessings!

Excellent advice on the Hawthorn! That's one that a LOT of people don't know. Don't have Salt Lick stuff here in Cali! LOL! I have the same fear as you. If you share the cheap things you do, the stores will figure it out....LOL! Ohhhh....I LOVE the coffin nails you sent me. I haven't yet found what I want to do with them yet, but I LOVES THEM!! Very cool info on both the witches burr and cinnamon stick!

We have a really old hawthorn in our yard over here in Washington. I HAD to unfortunately cut a it back because part of it was dead. And those thorns are ridiculous lol! I felt so bad, but I think the tree was laughing at my despair to be honest lol

How would a person go about asking for forgiveness from the fae about cutting the hawthorn. Because my life has been turned upside down since trimming it back. I just put two and two together on what may have caused it. Everything from poor job security, not finding the right job. Money problems etc.

that's another one that's by the front side of my house. Oh no, I had to cut mine cause it was taking over my front steps and anyone that walked up would go to it and get poked im guessing cause it's so pretty when that darkness in the leaves are like ivy looking on edges kinda look purple just that really dark beautiful green makes them go to it...yes, i think they've raised prices the pink salt never was over 5.00 bucks. now when i go out when i need it the big bottle i paid 7.99 for it..So i can believe that that there upping prices on herbs, salts, charcoal, and a few other commons are getting ridiculous. I love cedar, i had gotten these little paint holders that are made straight from cedar my dog got ahold of and chewed and wondering what to do with so that helps, glad you gave the cedar, cause i don't get alot of time to set down and research everything magickly if you witches know what i mean. Ah yup, my mom has four horseshoes she's got hung up in her home, i went to touch them.I asked what they're for and she said luck/protection as she said.I think she's a natural but doesn't realize it but yet i told her...Talking on the witch's protection bottle, what other uses can you use it for? and what to do when your ready to get rid of it or to refresh it or yeah what to do with it later on..I've had my setting on my alter since i made it...It's got crystals in it, rose petals, a scroll with the charm of protection written and tied, and my cat's collar bell, some of his fur and tag hooked, nail, etc....I've gotten a few things in it but i would love to learn more about those. I mean i've been in practice for over 13-15 years but i had to keep it hidden so my practice was few and little and when i was on my search at that age i didn't have google...but i've recently come out and told my mom uhm about a few months ago that i couldn't live like this anymore i was tired of hiding it, and that i changed my religion to Wicca/pagan that deep down I've always known I was different I always knew things, could sense things, could read pple well without any tools and well only witches would know if you come from a Christian family or roots like i have and have felt like this...But I do keep my faith that my mom will start to question things and is what i want, i want her to question me so that she can learn that it's not all dark and evil, I've always seen everything in the spiritual even though it's physical im always finding connections to things in the spiritual that Christianity would forbid to question...Love & light, warm blessings always love your vids. much knowledge and research given here...So appreciated...

That's a great shame that you are not able to tell your family and friends now. Why should you be ashamed to be a pagan when it is perfectly acceptable to be of any other religion? I know you meant your comment light heartedly, but humour aside, there is a sadness to your thoughts as well. Maybe you should start to be more open and give your family a chance to embrace you for who you are. Consider this... Imagine if you died and your family looked through your belongings and realised you were a witch, and wondered why you'd never shared that with them? Would they hide it all and give you a Christian burial to make it all look "acceptable" to the neighbours? Or would they decide to give you a humanist service in honour of your faith, and to have at least one shared pagan experience with you? I guess only you know what your family's reaction would be, but friends are a different subject! Friends we choose ourselves! If your friends would not accept your faith then they're not really worth keeping! It sounds like you put a lot of yourself on standby, and adapt yourself to please those around you. It makes them happy but at what cost to you? You deserve to be accepted 100% by those closest to you. I hope you find that happy place where you can be totally yourself surrounded by true friends. 💖💗💝

my family knows and my friends and co-workers know....but my family is what I would say "very Christian" other than not going to church....it suprises me when it comes to my father because he isn't all caucasion...he is half native American too.....so I cant understand why he doesn't have that spiritual side to him that the natives have....I know my grandfather left the reservation right before he met my grandmother...he even spoke the native language but for some reason never taught my father...so yes it is sad but living here in a small town that is full of "bible thumpers" is really hard....my parents stopped making comments about my beliefs finally but I know they don't like it as they made it clear.....actually its more my dad that disapproves....my mother has always usually accepted who I am even if it wasn't her cup of tea or she didn't understand it....my father can be an ass sometimes lol....I guess his older age is making him set his ways maybe
@tamielizabethallaway24136 жыл бұрын
@@djiceyfan ahhhh... you're American! That's why it's harder for you. I'm English and we just don't have that Bible bashing mentality here. There are Christians obviously, but to be honest I don't know any! I have noticed a lot on the internet that America seems to have a lot of extremely vocal, judgemental and hypocritical hardcore Christians! They have possibly made some of the worst comments towards others that I have seen! I couldn't imagine living amongst them! I'm all for people being whatever religion floats your boat, but I don't appreciate being force fed quotes from the Bible lol! Well it's good your immediate family knows and if not embraces it, at least embraces you in spite of it! Yeah you'd imagine your dad to be very earthy and nature connected! Maybe he's a rebel 😂😂😂 in which case he's probably more pagan than he cares to admit! 😉 xxxxx

There many things I would never havevor use, the coffin nails and grave dirt are definitely not in my usage. A squirrel from the park over the road left me some nutshells on my doorstep.
@michellesunshinestar5 жыл бұрын
If you have a train track you can look for old iron nails there?? Just an idea. Next Memorial Day I will try to get some graveyard dirt. I might have to ask permission though. It's a tradition to go down there. Eat have a picnic at the other graveyard, and the band plays at the big graveyard, and the 21 gun salute, oh and the speech. For an offering - is that why we place flowers on graves? I can look for a snake's skin at the cabin. NO wonder I'm attracted to Wicca!!! At my parent's house they would get secada's (spelling) and they are LOUD!!! I live downtown. Can I put my notes in my BoS, I probably will do that anyways, but I wanted to let you know. And I put my sources in my Book of Shadows, so I can find it again. I'm not putting an inclusive herb guide in my BoS. I think I will just buy a book with that information. I wasn't thinking and wrote down shelves instead of shells. Thought you would find that funny.

you can do witchy practice and not be wiccan. although i do practice their wheel of the year, because tis the story of agriculture and i see it from the greek and norse myth, as well at some holiday practices in roman catholic and judaism. the holidays that is honoring nature basically.

Horse shoes over doors, has a Irish Celtic tradition and yes, signifies good luck. I knew an old Gypsy who had six over her bowtop caravan at the door to the rear and 3 at the front. It is said to repel bad spirits and bad luck.
