It wasn’t about the authority, with that kind of job you have to pick and choose your battles. Arguing with them over chemicals and making them mad could end up with you getting stabbed or worse because you chose to fight over something as little as that. He wasn’t undermining her authority, he stated it can literally end up with you getting assaulted because they retaliate. Wasn’t something to really fight the inmate over.

@@schlomoshekelstein908 She didn't make the rules up, she was enforcing them. All the Guards should be presenting a united front. They should all do the same thing, whatever that is. I am not arguing the rule is a good one, I am arguing as a team member, the other guard failed her and put her in a bad position to enforce any rules again.

The shower situation was so unfair towards her. Him giving the inmate the chemical made the Inmate think what she said was not valid and he was gonna get his way with the male officer. Instead of giving the brat what he wanted he should’ve enforced what she said so the Inmates can know what she’s saying is VALID.

@@arelicruz7530 No, the prisoners do not have to follow the guards rules. The prisoners have to follow the rules set in policy by the state and prison itself. Not some made up rules by a rookie. She decide to undermine the rules and decided maker own rules and got called out for it which got her assaulted. She went in thinking "im gonna put the prisioners into their place" when in reality she got put into her place. So she quit. Serves her right for being self righteous.🤷♀️🖕

I’m a female co in a men’s prison you really need to take control and be assertive. You cannot show fear because inmates can read if your vulnerable or not, I started the job at 25 years old I’m not 29 and apart of the countries riot squad. Girls can do this job you just have to be a certain person to fit the position

I'm a C.O 15 years on, hardest Prisons California and We all have a Fabian In our Prisons. They don't pay these folks enough to work in that environment. Ariel did the right thing leaving that place for low pay. She has experience and she could make way More in other states with less drama.
