The man is a bit of a mystery. While stories like this are intriguing and he's without a doubt a special athlete there's always that mystique nearly every fight of finding out who Conor really is in terms of how great a fighter he is or isn't. You never truly know and this is partly by design. He's holding a great hand and he's playing it slowly and well. Soon though we will know. That kind of truth has it's day in this sport.

Truth is he's had some spectacular wins and he is gifted in his fighting. We all know why he's a big star though. I'd like to know for sure how great he is or isn't and if you're not a fan you could say we already know. We've seen him lose and lose bad. If he wasn't worth so much as a star he might just fight and we'd know for sure but that's probably never going to happen. I think that's one reason he's miserable he's a fighter in his prime. Great story that speaks to the person Connor is: basically fearless with very low anxiety. But I don’t agree that the crowd has no factor to his performance. It’s a great point you bring up but my conclusion is the opposite. Connor is all about harnessing raw emotion he gets high from it. With this last fight with Dustin and there being no crowd I think definitely is a factor in the loss. He was so calm bordering on boring o the lead up to the fight. The bottom line: age, wealth, not be hungry as he was all a factor. But I believe Connor does it for the action, the juice, and no crowd was a factor. Thanks Chael keep them coming!
