Don't ask how I got hooked - the explanation would be convoluted and subjective - but you're part of my daily routine now. I'll stick around as long as you'll seemingly be having fun with putting videos out. Greetings from Germany

Concerns about simple break-ins seem dated. Today, the homeowner would likely be thankful that the burglars just left, rather than moving in and taking over the place. :-)

Enjoyed seeing this. I knew that was a Zoom H6 recorder, since I have one. I bought it a number of years ago with accumulated birthday and Christmas money and I’ve used it in so many unexpected ways-as a mini mixer to broadcast both room sound as well as the sound from the sound system, as a spread microphone to amplify a choir, as well as using it to record nature sounds in stereo, which is why I thought I was buying it. 🙂
@fk319fk4 күн бұрын
I love my H6. I also have a video camcorder, and I use the H6 to record where the action is and video further back. I do this so the audio is in sync with the video and the audio sounds much better. When the F8 comes out with the attachment connector, I will get that, too!

Ben is undiscovered 8 hours after video went up; could people be scared he will come after those who give away his location with the USN gold hilt sword that he is holding?

So prosecute the owner only when an actual injury happens. This law reminds me of when the cops won't do anything about abuse untill someone is dead

I did not know that blue paper photographs better. That would explain why Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert's notes are on blue paper. (edit) In today's political climate, I wonder if a law such as this would survive a modern day ruling in a similar event.

I've always thought you had your camera's display panel flipped out and facing forward so you could see how you were showing up. There were several occasions I saw you looking at/around the camera like you were checking yourself.
@grahamstretch68634 күн бұрын
Just looking at the type of camera and given the age it probably doesn’t have a tilt / flip screen.
@smvb774 күн бұрын
I think I have a Nikon that is older than that. Its screen flips around, so I would guess that it would be too distracting to see yourself while filming. The OP might have seen videos when he did have it flipped around possibly…who knows? It is fun to see the behind the scenes view though.
@grahamstretch68634 күн бұрын
@ I was looking at the fact that it has buttons down the left which seems to preclude the screen from hinging out but I stand to be corrected on that, I’m not too familiar with Nikon bodies.

What does the law say if it’s rigged to capture and not hurt?

Steve, I decided not to use a gun to protect my property. But I do have a electric chainsaw. So it starts instantly. I can not disarm a person, but maybe they will run away screaming if I unhand them or try to disarm them. I might disembowl them. But who knows. I think about this. "911 what is your emergency" Umm, a guy broke in and did not drop the knife, so I cut his hand off. Yes that is him crying in the background. No I don't think he will harm me now, the knife dropped when his hand was removed. My address? I do understand that leaving the person alive can cause a problem. I have heard some say "Survivors will be shot again". But I don't have enough assets to have someone sue me.

So I procrastinated in looking up your other channel and KZbin put this video in my feed 😂 My first thought was, "What if the place catches on fire and firefighters have to enter?" Even if you're home to babysit, what if you have a medical emergency such that you're able to phone 911 _but can't get up to unspring the trigger?_ And suppose that in your emergency you can't articulate the warning that the bedroom door is boobytrapped. You might have the concern for the lives of first responders that leads you to decide not to call 911, but then someone has to come get your deceased body. It's just not worth it to me. Better to boobytrap with bells, whistles, cameras and microphones. Imho.

Steve, so in today's environment where porch pirates are running rampant, where does the law hurt or help the property owner, in the event the porch pirate gets injured, outside the home from a fake package rigged to go boom or otherwise deter the alleged thief?
@JN-ou9ws3 күн бұрын
Hi, Steve There different degree crimes as to say, you break into a where house late at night. The place closes at 5:00pm. No one is supposed to be there. 3rd or 4th degree feliney The other was. Family home 1st or 2nd degree because someone could be home.
