I had the privilege of finishing the last 2.5 ears of my 34-yr airline career in the left seat of a B777-300ER, flying it to 5 continents. I hope you enjoyed your ride in it. The Dubai helipad landing was amazing. So many people came together to make this happen. But, I think it happened because of what was donee in Spanish Fork.

777 ER is my favorite plane as a passanger. First time it was just when it was relatively new and NIKI LAUDA has had a beautifull one - LAUDA AIR (no longer).

Even scarier and impressive when I watch frame by frame. He touched first just inside the outer edge then a bit of a bounce to the center and stopped just short of the other side. Amazing flying and team work with Mike. Well done.

As I watched the video and the attention to preparation detail, I still forgot for a minute who I was watching, and thought trying this seems totally crazy to me. But, then my focus came back and I lol, since I know after watching Mike for years that if it is possible to try something in aviation Mike has already explored all the parameters for the safest outcome, or to even attempt it. The videography was amazing with everything focused on the plane!

Dubai was the host for the World Air Games a number of years ago. I had several friends that flew in the hot air balloon events. Everyone said IT'S AMAZING! It's something to see. Hope you guys enjoyed that trip.

I've been to Dubai about a dozen times. The UAE is an extremely wealthy country. They import most of their labor force. Here's the smart thing they do. "Foreigners are allow to live in the UAE only when they are working." When they retire or just stop working...they must exit the country. What a fantastic way to solve your labor issues...and you are not filling up your country with retired laborers...FANTASTIC!

I was going to suggest your voice will need a rest Mike... the excitement and enthusiasm is understandable. I don't think we all have the expeeience and know how to realise how complex that was, without the series of videos you (&your video team, family and mystery video editor) have done and put up for us, I know I'd be guessing and not even been aware of a lot of the challenges to make that happen. Nice slow-motion showing those tyres during the heavy braking landing too.

Good idea to add the extension slope around the ring because at the 13:45 time stamp you can see the wheels touch on the extension part instead of the pad. I'm sure it was planned to use the extra surface, but dang that's cutting it close. GREAT JOB!

I still cannot help expect after it is completed Mike will do a "and here is the reveal of the secret ..........." that we haven't shown in the videos previously. I was wondering if the pool/dancefloor might elevate above the house roof so he can land the chopper? Maybe not with the airport being so close.

With the new helipad best tugs pad, I don't see them landing on the house. I reckon the point was to land and pack-away at the airport and very short drive home. But they could surprise us...and their neighbours.

Awesome stunt. There is a serious issue happening with the aviation world in the US with the FAA that I think the aviation community needs to address. I would love to see Mike put together a panel of respected aviators to discuss the Trent Palmer case. The faa ruling could end safe off airport landing and force pilots to forego inspection passes. Ironically, Trevor Jacob received the same punishment as Trent palmer.
