There is a crossover with Indiana Jones in one of Dark Horse´s Star Wars Tales issues that I am pretty sure the creators of this movie have read. Besides, there is also a sort of crossover between SW and ET. In Spielberg´s movie, when ET goes out with the kids during Halloween he runs after a kid disguised as Yoda while shouting "home!". After that, in The Phantom Menace, one of the seats in the Galactic Senate is occupied by ETs. In fact, there is a fan theory that argues that ET is a lost Jedi Knight, based on the telekinetic powers he shows in the movie. Just like if he was using the Force. What if ET was a Star Wars spin off?

I found this because my fan film was just accepted into the Azure Lorica fan film festival and I was curious about who won last year, and oh my god this is INCREDIBLE. I am genuinely in awe, my jaw was to the floor through pretty much the entire film. The writing and acting was great, so many nice references, the visuals had me SHOOK, especially at the end, and just overall the story was so seamless that it felt more like a full-length movie than a 20 minute short. Very very well done. Im excited to see what brilliant things you come up with in the future!

Solid. We need more fan contribution like this. It's what made the Star Wars fandom unique. Continuing the story started by George Lucas. Star Wars is from the fans, not just from a bunch of writers and franchise owners. Thats what weakened the third Trilogy. Erasing its rich past and stories created by fans.
