Season 7 Episode 15 'Bombshells'
When Cuddy is admitted to the hospital with what may be life-threatening symptoms, House is confronted with the fact that he is not the supportive boyfriend Cuddy needs him to be, and her surreal dreams (including a scene choreographed by Mia Michaels) may be trying to tell her something about her relationship with House. Meanwhile, the team treats a student (Brett DelBuono) whose emotional scars run deeper than his physical ones, and Taub must decide if the student is a threat to others, or a kid struggling to find his way.

I remember the most shocking moment in House was when he operated on himself after trying an experimental drug for his leg. It showed just how insane he was getting. The moment when he realised how far out of his depth he was... panicked and tried to call for help.. and realising there wasn't anyone. That stuck with me.

When they were casting for House he sent a tape where he uses an American accent and none of the people who saw it realised he was a Brit they all thought he was an American. If you haven’t seen him in his earlier British comedy shows I recommend Fry and Laurie and Blackadder (he is great in Blackadder the third as Prince George or Blackadder the fourth as Lieutenant George (they were made in the 80s by the BBC). His comedy partner Stephen Fry is also amazing as General Melchett

Honestly, this is one thing House always got right. Dreams, nightmares, hallucinations etc. scenes were always very well done and always hit the note they were supposed to. Though after Cuddy leaves him I always hated her. He relapsed during a time where he was vulnerable, and his partner left him knowing that was an issue he would be dealing with for the rest of his life.

Yeah, House was happy and doing pretty good. He made one mistake with vicodine and she broke with him. She most likely knew it was gonna get him back on it, but she did it anyways. House even begged her, but she still left

We also don’t allow anyone to play music that’s why no great rock bands come from here. Luckily we have had secret radio sets for years to pick up American music such as The Beatles and the Stones to listen to in our hovels although the constant 24hr rain can disturb your listening pleasure bouncing off our castle roofs 😉

Sry I know this is a side-track but only mentioning it as Edelstein is backing up Cuddy's choice in breaking up with House and that was one of the very irritating moments of the show for me.. Cuddy literally tells House that she doesn't care if House takes the Vicodin or not, the night they get together for the first time. How is breaking-up over taking Vicodin is a stressful time justified? Granted that dealing with House is difficult and he isn't a normal kind of boyfriend. But he was really trying and if Cuddy was expecting a normal from House she shouldn't have gotton into the relationship with him in the first place. She actually kinda admits this herself too when later talking to Wilson that it's her mistake and she should have known she would expect that.. Love this scene by the way and regardless
