The term 'muscle car' is being thrown around too loosely by people try describe an American car with a V8, which is not what the definition is, or at least not just that alone. A muscle has to be built from the very start with performance in mind and has to follow a strict set of guidelines to be considered a muscle car. That's why cars like Corvettes aren't muscle cars because they started out as 2 door chick cars with a weak straight 6m.

have any of you actually been to the pawn shop in Las Vegas?
