When I heard about the Scott Peterson case, and he was originally sentenced to death I was really happy, but then I rethought the situation and realized that he would be better off being sentenced to life without parole and later after California's moratorium on capital punishment and I heard that Peterson was resentenced to life without parole I thought it was more suitable, because instead of him escaping his guilt by way of lethal injection, Scott Lee Peterson now has the rest of his life to think about the horrible deed he committed against Lacy and Conner, while he sits in San Quentin State Prison in a cell. He can reflect on his offences. The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation won't be letting that bastard see the light of day, his affair turned deadly for Lacy and Conner. He's a danger to society.

One of the reasons that this sad case is so famous is because they look like the perfect "Hollywood" couple, especially on their wedding day. She had no idea who she was married to and he had no idea what he was walking into when he made his plan to kill her. I'm sure he's regretted it since, if only because of the prison/death sentence. He will have permanent connection with laci because of the child too, and he will continue the child support, pay alimony etc. Hew might lose his house as well if he divorce. He thinks the other woman, the mistress is better option since she is working, plus she is tall and skinny even if she looks like a horse. If you look at his pinnacle and his challenges, there is no way that he wants to be tied down, he has 7 pinnacles which makes him always serious and loner and doesn't like to be bothered, and his challenges are 5 so he wants freedom and to travel and go places and have an easy life.
