1600-Watt 10-Channel Powered Mixer with Dual Multi-FX Processor and FBQ Feedback Detection System. I use this for my DJ amp and for Karaoke. It puts out 300 watts per channel RMS at 8Ohm 600 watts rms at 4Ohm. 400 watts peak at 8Ohm per channel, and 800 watts per channel peak at 4Ohm. In bridge mode it has one channel at 1200 watts RMS and 1600 watts peak at 8Ohm and can take a 8Ohm or a 16 Ohm speaker, Using anything lower than a 8Ohm speaker in bridge mode will most likely damage the amp and you must not hook a speaker up to the other output or that could damage your powered mixer. It has Class-D Technology for the amp and runs very cool. It has Stunning Stereo using them with my JBL JRX115 mains and I always get complements on how good it sounds. I can max out the volume control and make it sound like your at a dance club and I Don't hear any distortion. The speakers I am using this amp with are rated at 250 watts RMS and 1000Watts peak and they recommend you use them with a 250 watt to 500 watt rms amp.
I like it and it's one of the only 300 watts RMS powered mixers I could find at 8Ohm. Most I found were under 300 watts rms.

Can comment regarding the fan noise? I plan to use a compact mixer like this in a solo acoustic setting, quiet listening audience. A fan would be distracting if it's not more or less whisper quiet. I can't find info in the Behringer PMP manual which discusses the fan operation, for example, whether it's variable speed and only ramps up when the amp is under load (as with my full band gig), or if the fan runs at a fixed speed all the time. Thanks in advance for an answer. Better yet, post a short video clip that shows the fan noise when running :-)

I don't hear the fan at all. It runs very cool when you are using it. That has to be the class D amps making it run so cool. I am still using it and am still very happy. Normally if i am DJing at a bar i keep the volume at 50% up or less depending on the size of the place and the amp stays cool.

Wylie Walker yeah I never been in a quiet room i use it for being a moblie DJ so there is background noise all the time from people talking or what not. I just don't hear it. I am sure the fans will need cleaned someday like computer fans do. I just look thru the vents with a flash light every so often to see how the look.
