Behringer Syncussion SY-1 Spotted [Vintage Percussion Synth Clone]

The Behringer Syncussion SY-1 has been spotted in the wild and appears to have been shipped to someone in the US. Available in limited quantities at the Alto Music Store with shipping across the US. Unfortunately for me, in the UK I'm going to have to hold on a while longer before trying to get my hands on one.

I'm holding off the latest for now as I'm more interested in the micro sy the that are un the works, and I'm also pretty sure the Oxford oscar clone is in the works as I saw what looked like a prototype on a behringer post and I've wanted an Oscar for years

Fair enough, can't find room for every new release. The SY-1 is my kinda synth though as I'm well into percussive sounds and this appears to have a different sound pallete to what I have right now. Have seen the info about the OSCar - looks like a lovely synth but reckon that could be years off production. BTW what is the 'micro sy'? Have I missed something???

@3dims sy must of been a good old typo 😆 , I'm willing to wait years for the oscar clone as I'm not paying 4 grand or more for and old one that's full of bugs 😆

@@koncreteto2758 cool. Just needed to double check there wasn't something weird and wonderful I hadn't heard of. And the Micro SY could definitely be a Behringer product name. 100% agree on waiting, though I understand the GEForce VST is pretty fine in the mean time. Not used it myself as I have a HDD full of amazing virtual instruments that it's super hard to justify any more.

@@3dims funny you mention the imposcar, the 3rd one I don't rate it, sounds nothing like imposcar or imposcar 2, Imposcar 2 is pretty close sounding to the original
