Behringer x32 Tutorial - Layers, Inputs, DCA'S and Bus

Behringer x32. This a video tutorial for our sound team at North Strand Community Church. Feel free to chk it out. I did skip over the Matrix layer unintentionally, but we are just focusing on running for live sound on this vid.

Basically create a mix bus(1-16) Make sure it is in a Prefader setting not Post. Then hit sends on faders...select that Mixbus...and go to left input section and slide up faders into that mix as desired. On your routing page just note which analog out is the send for the mixbus.

cool board i played with alot of mixer this one is one of favs in its price class. i have a sound company so i demo a few mixxers

can i link channel from 1st layer with channel on second layer ?

Just a quick question, I've noticed that in our X32 the DCA meters don't show signal in the meters, they're working though but I'm curious and wondering if yours do the same.

eurofantasy DCAs wont show any metering because they're not an actual channel. Think of them as a remote controller for a TV. A DCA is only controlling where the fader is on this board instead of you having to use your hands to run up and down 10 faders for a band, etc.
