The biggest complication I had with figuring out I was asexual was the seperation of romantic and sexual attraction. I had always asumed (largly because of media and the way romance and Love are generally known) they were the same thing.

hey, i found your videos tonight because one of your older ones came up in my suggestions. Ive watched quite a few of your videos now and i can relate to a lot of what you've spoken about. The frustrations, the problems that you can have being asexual, feeling different. I've felt so many of those things too and actually this is pretty new to me, i only found out about asexuality in the last couple of years and i relate so much to it and its comforting. Im pretty sure im grey-ace but still not sure, but im 19, ive never had a sexual experience with someone else, ive kissed someone before but that it, ive only had 1 relationship and sometimes its pretty shitty. My biggest problem at the moment though is that I can't come out because no one knows what asexuality is, i don't know anyone thats ace and i have no idea how im supposed to tell my parents about it either. I dont know what it is about you and your channel but i love it and its great and id love just to talk to you too... hope you're okay :)

I graduated from university as a virgin asexual myself. My advise is don't take humans so seriously my university friends talked all about sex too and it's just meaningless to me... You say you envy people who had sex, and I say what is there to envy it's just inside, outside, inside, outside, BOOM liquid comes THAT'S IT:)) nothing else :)) Sex is just so overrated :) (Note: I'm an antisocial highly functioning autistic myself, so if you value human interactions, emotions, relationships and that kind of stuff then following my advice might not turn out to be very helpful to you. I'm as mariginal as it gets and I despise society and human race but I'm just trying to help you by sharing my unique point of view. And when I say I despise human race please don't take it too personally, I don't generally insult specific humans, only the whole human race...)

When you do get your first girlfriend I hope you don't feel like you have to stay with her just because she accepts your asexuality. Make sure (even if she likes you - and no matter how great that feeling will be) you take a step away and reflect and make sure you are happy with the relationship. Don't feel like you have to stay with the first girl who likes you. Make sure you like her too (because your feelings are MOST important!) But in saying that, you will find that special girl I'm sure of it! And it will happen when you least expect it (at least that's what all my friends tell me lol)

I relate to this so much I only found out about you yesterday but so glad it did. I feel so alone I didn't know it was a thing. I'm also a uni student aged 21 and feel so weird and low sometimes it's nice to find out its not just me.
