Just because the Vet report did not include the word "bite" or "puncture" doesn't mean Peanut wasn't in the other dogs mouth. The report does state "tissue damage" --because the attack caused tears or rips, that needed 18 STITCHES. Peanut was shaken vigorously, how can she say that the damage wasn't caused by Mabel? The Defendant is one of the dumbest I've seen on this show.

But the defendant assumed the responsibility because she stated that she kept the neighbor’s dog in her yard on a regular basis. The defendant didn’t think the dog could get out of her yard. But she knew the dog was an escape artist. If the defendant had no such on-going involvement with the dog and the dog had gotten into her yard on its own and then escaped her yard and attacked she wouldn’t need liable.
