Not really rough justice. The judge said she couldn't believe anything either side said, so neither side satisfied the burden of proof to prove their case. That sounds like ordinary judicial procedure to me. In my recollection, she's only used "rough justice," when deciding how much the defendant owed the plaintiff in the absence of hard evidence.

I don't think anybody should expect to be stolen from. However, after some time - you need to use some intelligence and realize when somebody is stealing from you that you don't KEEP inviting them to steal from you. The level of stupidity on the Plaintiff is outstanding. The worst part is if the defendant was not even more stupid, he probably could have gotten away with it. Trying to say he was drugged and threated to be killed off so he kept going back the the plaintiff's home everyday for a week. If he did not start of by saying he was not interested in him, and just said they were gifts that changed when he did not like the plaintiff any more would have suited his story much better.
