i completely agree, at first the concept of yelp and personal ratings and reviews was a really effective and cool tool for small business and just everyday normal people. now, with the ability to buy fake likes/reviews and to be able to use it against someone has made it a really almost detrimental aspect of social media. i remember in my early 20's as a young server, i got a bad yelp review insulting my looks and the way i walked, and it broke my heart.

I am not gonna lie, when I worked at a construction company, it was satisfying to put liens on homes. It wasn't many but these home owners that got liened deserved it. It was literally the last thing to do after we try to be reasonable. They would hold a 10,000 dollar check for a 50 dollar repair. We would tell them that we cannot honor our warranty unless we are fully paid and they would get angry. We needed to pay our employees with that check. Also that check was usually insurance money. By law, they can not keep that money. They are so confident when they don't pay us and then they come crawling back when they can't sell their house. They always paid with interest in the end.

Defamation is also about malice. The freak is bad mouthing him ages after the event. She should have given the tile guy the balance owed on the work he did. She had discretion. Mr abd Mrs Karen were getting off on ruining a guy. They needed consequences.
@MI5Investigations2 жыл бұрын
But it also has to be false.
@KennuhWayne2 жыл бұрын
@@MI5Investigations Exactly. There's a criteria for defamation and this didn't come anywhere close to it. Certainly not malice. The defendant is a real prick, but he was careful to stay within the legal lines. Karma will find him though. And that evil wife of his.

@@KennuhWayne I KNOW THAT YOU HAVE VERY GOOD ANSWERS KEN. BUT I GUESS THERE HAS TO BE SOME CHANGES TO THE WORDING THEN OF THESE LAW'S. THIS GUY IS SAYING THIS AFTER THREE YEARS! THE CONTRACTOR DIDN'T DO ANYTHING AS FAR AS EXCEPTIONAL TILE WORK. THEY DIDN'T PAY ONE DIME. THIS IS THE MAN'S LIVELIHOOD, IT'S BEEN HIS ENTIRE LIFE'S WORK FOR ALL THOSE YEARS. NOW THEY'RE OUT TO DESTROY HIM OVER A PLANT THAT A WORKER "ACCIDENTALLY" RUINED. THAT THEY STILL HAVEN'T REPLACED! THESE ARE OBSESSED, PSYCHO, NARCISSIST FREAK'S! WHO CAN'T EVEN BUY A GOOD RUG FOR HIS HEAD! FFS 😠😑

@@KennuhWayne he lied with malice lol. There was no need for a “legal battle”, and it was started by the defendant’s refusing to pay.

Wrong decision. The contractors didn't get paid the 400 $ for the 2 weeks work. And the judge took out some of that money assuming it was the contractors fault for the flower bed not growing any flowers, when she herself says it's because the defendant choice not to tender to the garden and take a photo in order to win the court case. Truly disgusting.
@KennuhWayne2 жыл бұрын
The plaintiff admitted fault for the damages to the flower bed so he had to pay for it. True, the "damages" could have been mitigated by the defendants, but they're not legally bound to do so. But who works for 2 weeks for $400 anyway?

There's a rule about HAIR - when you get older you should make it lighter (if you color it) -- also most wigs look awful on men. Also hair should be cut shorter every 5-10 years after age 35. There. I said it.
