This show has so much potential and is full of iconic characters. I like how the teacher treats history class like gym class, Blatsy is so wholesome and definitely doesn’t deserve the extreme bullying he gets at school (who’s with me on going to that school to make the bully leave him alone) and ghosts, don’t even get me started on the ghosts.

She’s never had anybody be genuine with her, she has never had healthy boundaries because she’s been given everything, and June gives some semblance of reality and meaning to her otherwise unsatisfying unauthentic existence. She can’t process June in a healthy fashion, and the only way she can be sure someone is authentic is by being a villain to them. @@theloudstarkirby4203 When we pitched the series to Cartoon Network and Disney, back in 2016 and 2017, they both chose to pass on the series, unfortunately. It wasn't the right time for either of the studios -- Disney, especially, because they already had "The Ghost and Molly McGee" in concept at the time, which they thought would be too similar a show to our concept. We are hopeful that we will be picked up in the future, though -- either by those studios or another. The best way fans can help is by spreading the media we do have the resources to produce (this pilot, and all the comic episodes) as far and wide as you can. The more networks see the demand for this show from fans like you, the stronger a case we can make to them.

Haha though we're very flattered, we accept that coincidences happen. One of the biggest coincidences: we pitched this show to Disney at the time when The Ghost and Molly McGee was already in-the-works -- another show featuring a teen and a ghost. Of course they had to pass on the concept, because they had something too similar already. It just happens sometimes; two ideas come from different places and converge.

where’s my cat True. It's a shame they went all soft. They had shows like Courage and Billy and Mandy, but if those shows were made today, they wouldn't have gotten a second thought. The closest things to those shows in recent times are Over The Garden Wall and Infinity Train, and both of those shows aren't as disturbing or use as much dark humor. There's also the fact that both are mini-series while Courage and Billy and Mandy were full cartoons. If there's anything I missed, point it out. Haven't watched CN in a while, so I don't know EVERY show.

Alright, for the record a broadcast company isn't a cold machine that only rewards awful content. Think of It like a chain of command, where everybody answers to a boss. When Mike and Brian of Avatar the Last Airbender met with a studio executive at Nickelodeon, they got the scoop on what was being made at the time. It went something like this: "Hi, I'm a studio executive. You may think I have a lot of power, but I answer to a board of shareholders, and they've decided we're going to make a show that does *this* next." It's almost always following the previous market trend. For Avatar, Harry Potter just made a ton of money, so the board informed the studio executive to find a show for the TV-PG age group that included three things: magic, action, and adventure. Avatar was created around those three things. In the pitch meeting Mike and Brian brought drawings for each of those core ideas- it probably helped it get picked up for a show.
