When Lorna talked about how suffering in marriage for the fear of divorce was and has always been normalized, I felt it I have attended very many bridal showers from different Faiths and women are still being advised to pray for their marriages when things are not working infact they refer to marriage as "Long term suffering" in this time and era SAD.

Funny enough, its the women who are expected to always be praying.

Jules is such a vibe. Love you girls. I love what Lorna said, we need to separate accepting our bodies and having a healthy body. It is a sensitive topic, but big or small, no extreme is ideal. There are a lot of weight related diseases, including anorexia. Let us love whatever body we have, but let us take care of them.

The question on why men are insecure when they can’t be the provider is real. I dealt with it for years and I still deal with it today. Living in the US has humbled me in ways that I have been forced to embrace being a contributor rather than the provider. I have therefore learned to be a partner and not call all the shots. It’s definitely a topic for another episode. Thank you

Yeah..i heard that too. Not a very healthy subliminal message. I think married or not, we should work on loving ourselves.
@vee3687 Жыл бұрын
I feel like she was trying to debunk the idea that is ingrained in so many girls that if you dont look a certain way, men wont like you. Lornzie was just tryna show there's someone thats still loves her for who she is and that is also a big milestone in her self love and self care journey. And thats the takeaway, that your percieved "imperfections" might be the reason someone else sees you as their perfect match.

My experience is different. When I was younger it was believed that the more physically blessed kids were the pretty ones, and I was petite. We have all grown up now thankfully. 😊

That was a brilliant presentation that discussed quite a bit, well done! Also, you were all so smartly dressed, your stylist did a good job!! Ivy perhaps you can model feet to for shoe & cutex sellers, actually all of you can help sell different stuff based on vile mlikuwa m'mepresnt!!! Julz, I hope one day utaona, your size is perfect and also perfect for you. And for the guy alikushow you cover up bikini na leso, perhaps he didn't want other men noticing your beauty, yaani ingekuwa loss kubwa sana kupoteza dame kama wewe. I'm not pretending I know him, but that could have been how he saw it. Also, all of you are beautiful, very beautiful. But, what's more beautiful is the kind of person you are to other people, than how one looks!!! Thanks for sharing.
