I am a very slow learner and get frustrated pretty easily so I'm very grateful for this video!!! As a lefty, it's great to not have to mirror things in my head (which I am bad at) and as an absolute beginner, I am SO grateful that you walked through every single stitch. The videos that speed up throw me off when I'm first learning. I must've rewound and rewatched sections of this video a dozen times before it clicked. as a tip in general...if you find a crochet video that you want to try but it is right handed.... play it anyway and the click the website at the top.... keep it the same and just delete the words 'youtube' and swap it to 'mirrorthevideo' but keep the start and end of the web link the same..... then click after the com and enter.... it will load any video in a mirror formation so it appears leftie :D

I never did get the hang of crochet when I was a child as my mum was right handed and in spite of her best efforts I just could not grasp it. I am inspired now to go on to something more complicated. By FAR, you have the BEST videos! I started crochet during Covid and jumped right into intermediate stitches although I didn't know that. I hadn't worked a granny square - ever. After 8 tries, I gave up. Had a cocktail, ruminated on WHY in the WORLD I can't get this, had another cocktail. Went to bed. Got up, found your video - hangover gone the second I saw a SQUARE on my hook! You are the very cream of the crop. I LOVE the way you have the timed areas also. If you’re having trouble telling where the centre circle is I would increase your starting chain to five or six, which will make it much easier to see 😊 You can close up the hole once you’re done when you sew in your end.
