В углу Усману подсказывал Хабиб Нурмагомедов, который говорил, вероятно, на аварском, чтобы Шаблий не понимал, о чем речь. В середине раунда Усман зашел за спину сопернику и попытался задушить, но Александр выбрался. Оставшуюся часть раунда Нурмагомедов больше работал вторым номером, благодаря чему, скорее всего, забрал отрезок. Во втором раунде тенденция продолжилась. Шаблий действовал не слишком активно, а Усман продолжал придерживаться своего геймплана. Александр изредка выбрасывал одиночные мощные удары, но до цели они не доходили. По истечении трех минут Нурмагомедов выбросил колено в прыжке, но тоже неточно. После этого Усман прижал соперника к сетке, но перевести никак не получалось. Третий отрезок прошел в еще менее активном темпе. Бойцы не стремились к инициативе, старались действовать наверняка, и выглядело это зрелище тоскливо. Ближе к сирене соперники активизировались, но опасных моментов не возникло, а раунд наверняка снова отдали Усману. В четвертом раунде Шаблий начал действовать более жестко. Сначала он донес боковой, а затем попытался пробить коленом, но вместо этого случился тычок в глаз. Усман взял время, чтобы немного оклематься, после чего бой продолжился. Александр поддавливал соперника, а тот много двигался на ногах и иногда выбрасывал удары. А за полторы минуты до перерыва Нурмагомедов попал хай-киком, перевел бой в партер и попытался задушить Шаблия. Александр не позволял захватить свою шею, но раунд снова ушел Усману. Тут очевидно было, что Шаблий будет играть первый номером а Усман вторым номером. Любой себя уважающий фанат мма, который хоть что-то понимает в боях знал это. Шаблий и Усман оба всегда работают первым номером, но при этом если Усман дерется против 1-ого номера он может быть и вторым, что-бы сопернику было тяжело, что в принципе Усман и сделал. Учи мма.
