PG always mix the understanding of position, it opens up the mind. thank you.

That is amazing! I am going to have to add this to my game :) It really seems like a super tight and controlling position/submission. If you add a sankyo wrist lock/control then the arm would be a lot tighter it seems. Sankyo & kimura style locks go together like peanut butter & jelly

Keep fighting, guy! It’s not a loss if you learn. It’s more of a setback. Perfect example, Canelo / Mayweather. Canelo came out a better man cause he learned.

4:40 Lol this IS written in as "Guillotine" on pg.121 Tao of jkd, because Lee learnt it from Gene Labell! There's a little sketch of the position above the name

Yeah, it's the wrestler's guillotine. Bravo called it a twister because guillotine already meant something in BJJ.
@stephanwatson79022 жыл бұрын
@@TheLockon00 yup, that's true. I wonder if the Twister was in original, or early, jiu-jitsu OR if modern jiu-jitsu adopted it from catch wrestling
@TheLockon002 жыл бұрын
@@stephanwatson7902 Bravo straight up took it from wrestling. I don't know if it existed in Jujitsu or Judo prior to that.

If it illegal to do in wrestling then it good to do in mma. LOL. Then it good to do a powerbomb in mma?! LOL. Although any submission that is illegal in amateur wrestling it good in the ANCESTOR wrestling style of catch wrestling.

Rickson Gracie "Bruce Lee's philosophy about fighting was 100% correct" Rickson saying this is on video, here on KZbin. Powerside forward UFC fighters who talk about and use JKD concepts and techniques: Anderson Silva-right handed southpaw, Jon Jones-left handed orthodox, Israel Adesanya-born left fights orthodox (ambodextrous). I'd take another look at Bruce concepts, especially if your getting caught rushing in. That's fighting, loses make you better if they don't break you
