Ironically the best husband she had - and the one who she dumped the fastest. I forgot how she Jumps between men so suddenly although she just did between fiancée ARod and Ben. Ben comes across as Chris' dad said - he doesn't honor marriage. So the worst husband. This was not his first married woman plus he added on not respecting Scott foley or Lindsay shookus' husband or ARod. Hi I have a degree is psychology, love bombing only happens when there is an abuser-victim relationship, a power struggle....Love-bombing is a tactic used by an abuser to manipulate their victim to make them fall in love with them so deeply that their feelings, emotions and reality become so entangled and warped by them that once the abuser knows their victim is at this point, the "love" stops and the abuse begins. This person, the victim is now being used for the abuser's need for validation and other means of selfish gain. The victim is then left gaslighted and so far gone emotionally that they stay around to get that "high" feeling and "love" again from that person, sadly what they don't know is the that "love" they received in the beginningfrom the abuser was never genuine and it will never be what they promised them it would be. - I would say that in Jen and Ben's case, Ben had genuine feelings and interest for her and she shared the same feelings for him, this is mutual on both sides and is a healthy love because of that starting off. Ben as a man was peacocking, admiring, and eventually courted Jen for the sole purpose of being her mate, Jen happily accepted. The only unhealthy part of this was Ben's disrespect to Jen's Marriage prior to getting together. However, there was no love bombing involved by observation, they were both speaking highly about the other and were noticeably equally fond of one another. Their connection appears genuine.

Chris Judd was a rebound from Diddy! I heard he was there for her when she was going through DIddy heartbreak after she left Diddy for his ways. They met during the set of “Love don’t cost a thing” a guy on twitter said he was also hired as a back up dancer on the set and they would talk about how lonely Jlo seemed and they felt for her and Chris Chris would always give Jlo a hug as though to comfort her and before anything, they became close. I don’t think she loved him, I think she was infatuated with him and realized it wasn’t love, then couldn’t stand him, reason she went on honey moon with Benny Medina her manager. She always felt safe with Medina. Ben also had issues with Medina always lurking around them at some point but Jlo chose Ben and that caused some kind of friction between Jlo and Medina but they later settled the rift and respected each other’s boundaries. Jlo never had a romantic relationship with Medina but he was her manager/bestfriend

I remember vividly that crazy 3 ring media circus we called "Bennifer" back in the early 2000s. One very important point that almost everyone misses is that Ben Affleck met Jennifer Garner on set of Pearl Harbor when he was single, and worked with her again on Daredevil, when he was engaged to Jennifer Lopez. Jennifer Garner was married to her first husband Scott Foley back then and was making a name for herself in Hollywood. I must admit Garner looked very beautiful in Daredevil. When they all showed up on the red carpet for the Daredevil premiere at the Westwood Village Theatre in Los Angeles on February 9, 2003, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were a couple and Jennifer Garner and Scott Foely were a couple. And they all looked very happy and in love. The point that most people miss is Ben Affleck fell in love with Jennifer Garner while he was engaged to Lopez. In his interview to Playboy magazine, which was conducted years later after his break up with Lopez, he confesses during the interview and says that despite Daredevil's shortcomings, "that's where I found my wife. We met on Pearl Harbor, which people hate, but we fell in love on Daredevil". So, when he was holding Jennifer Lopez's hand on the red carpet premiere of Daredevil, he was already in love with Jennifer Garner who was married at the time. He had already fallen out of love with Lopez and hated the media attention surrounding them. His mom, his pal Matt Damon, his agent and his ex girl friend Gwyneth Paltrow warned him about marrying JLo and becoming Mr. Lopez. He was in the media for all the wrong reasons and he was wrecking his golden career by being associated with a narcisisstic woman who was the centre of the attention in that relationship. That is why he cheated on JLo with Strippers in Vancouver in Summer of 2003, he also frequently went to Vegas Casinos and gambled his money away and gave very large tips to the casino waitresses, which pissed off and enraged JLo plus he started drinking excessively and smoking nonestop, which again irritated Jennifer Lopez, because she hated it when Ben smoked, she is a nonesmoker. Now, when you look at their red carpet pictures arriving at the Premiere of Gigli in Los Angeles on July 27, 2003, you see a disconnect between them. JLo is all smiles but Ben looks less than happy to be there. That red carpet happened a few weeks after tabloids broke the story that he was hooking up with strippers in Vancouver. At the time, the tabloids were hounding them everywhere they went and Ben really felt trapped and wanted out. That is why HE broke off the engagement and it was announced on September 10, which was 4 days before their wedding on September 14 2003. They had one last dinner at the Ivy, where Lopez is wearing a green sleeveless satin dress. She had cried her eyes out and when they stepped out you could see the sadness in her eyes. The reason for breakup was not excessive media attention surrounding their wedding. The reason was Ben wanted out because his career was flushing down the toilet in front of his eyes and he could not stop it. And a very heart broken Jennifer Lopez burned down the expensive Vera Wang wedding gown, so Vera couldn't sell it to someone else. That pissed off Vera Wang very much of course, because she burned down $360,000 dollar dress. That was insane!!!. Years later when Affleck and Garner were married with children, he confessed in another interview that he should have never gotten involved with Lopez in the first place, because the publicity of their romance was destroying his career. He said he felt suffocated, miserable and gross in his relationship with Lopez. He did not want to be with Lopez so he ran into the arms of Jennifer Garner and thus "Bennifer 2.0" was created. From the time he fell in love with Lopez, to the time he fell in love with his wife Jennifer Garner, took about 90 days. Gigli began shooting in December 2001 and Daredevil began shooting in March 2002. Ben Affleck definitely broke up Lopez's marriage to Chris Judd and then broke Lopez's heart when he married his wife Jennifer Garner. $onofabitch never got any $hit for his actions. I stopped liking Jennifer Lopez when she broke up with Chris Judd, he was such a gentleman. JLO is one of those people that cant be alone. She has said it herself, she constantly needs attention and validation and unfortunately she uses being in a relationship to feel worthy. However you can tell she is very controling and has abanonment issues so she can never really love someone because she would not be able to handle them leaving her. Instead she is one of those people who constantly has people just on the edge of her relationships that she is firlting with that she very quickly pivots to as her relationships start going downhill

I'm not a fan of J-LO and have to guiltily admit I've been enjoying the way people on TikTok are discussing her cattiness rn after her documentary flopped. But I have to say (as someone who was too young to be aware of this stuff when it was going on), it is infuriating to see how the lion's share of the criticism for her relationship with Ben fell on her shoulders during this time. I think he was probably right on the nose with some of it being because of race, but I think it's also a reflection of the breathtaking sexism that was rampant in the press during this time period. Because listening to this addition of the series, I actually laughed out loud when it got to the part about Ben's ad campaign and him giving her flowers in front of her husband. I said "wow, what a homewrecker!" because regardless of where her relationship with Chris was at the time, those two things imo were crossing a boundary. I just think the uneven criticism and Ben being "too good" for her was ridiculous. They both seem kinda weird to me!

I worked with her father Dave Lopez at Guardian (Insurance) in Manhattan. He worked in IT Security. Very nice man. She attended a private Catholic girls school. She was not poor. Her parents worked hard and they lived a middle class life. Jen shouldn't pretend that she was a poor girl from the Bronx. Parts of the Bronx are tough neighborhoods. She wasn't living in a poor section of the Bronx. If she got a hole in her shoe, I'm sure it would have been repaired, or be replaced. I think she got with Diddy to get the perks of being with a big deal in the music industry. Also, I feel she was trying to develop a different persona...that of the tough girl from the Bronx. Of course, Diddy did have the 'thug' image and street cred that Jen was trying to portray. She was even dressing differently. She is really a pretty fake person.

In general I like her, not her music or movies, but I do like her style. However listening to her interviews, they come off very phony and PR trained. People know you cheated with Diddy on Kim and Ojani. People know you cheated on Chris with Ben. Back to my JLo and the Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo parallels. Ben is basically Harry Cameron of the story since Harry knew Evelyn when she was fifteen and saw potential in her which turned into a decades-long friendship before they married and had a child. Like Rex, Harry’s heart is with someone else and his first love dies, causing him to become an alcoholic. He dies in a car accident along with another passenger, and Evelyn blames the passenger, who happens to be the interviewer’s father, for the accident Harry caused. Ben has struggled with addiction he has now recovered from, his heart was with someone else after he and JLo broke up but would reunite years later, and met on a movie set.
