Dude, I gotta admit - I was ready for a gong show, typical KZbin video in which jacked up fucking guys preach just squats, leg press and deadlifts. This is one of the best, honest videos I've seen on training legs and training PERIOD. Bravo dude, I'm so impressed and now I giant fan ✊✊

stay on your toes, contract as much as possible, basically lifting yourself on your big toe like a ballerina would. make sure you stretch it to the max. that's pretty much it.

Good stuff! Everyone talks about "hips, hips, hips" but I don't hear enough about the pelvic floor.

Hey Bpak; I have a question about your first tip, would a split squat be considered unstable? And if so, would it make a difference if someone was really proficient at stabilizing their glutes, pelvic floor and core? Thanks!

This doesn't answer your question, but another option to make that a more stable exercise is to hold onto a fixed pole (from a cable machine for example) and only use one dumbbell in the opposite hand while performing the exercise.

I know it’s super late to the game, but as a woman, I focus on the kegal exercise, and as I’m contracting, I imagine squeezing my bottom pelvic bone ends together, and this helps the mind to muscle for the low abs. I keep contracting from the kegal exercise, on up to my lower abs, like a zipper. It is amazing at strengthening the pelvic floor.

Im 52 and squat close to 700lbs for reps on the pendulum squat, i dont have to worry about balance anymore..i call it the squat machine for the elder lol

There's a reason weightlifters who can front squat 3-4 times their bodyweight have smaller legs than football players. Legs need tons of volume and what football players do when they run and kick the ball is essentially super long low intensity sets.

Smaller legs?? Your delusional. Weightlifters dont do tons of work?? They squat 4 or 5 times a week. If you no anything about the snatch and the clean&jerk, both require being in the squat position and standing up with the weight. Weightlifters workload for their legs is huge.
