Jimmy next to someone of more normal size is ridiculous; He's huge. No wonder he's so incredible at bench! ABSOLUTE UNIT.

Jimmy is a bench press scientist. I did the band shoulder warm-ups an it really made a difference in my workout. I learn something every time i watch his videos. KOLBSTRONG

The warmup for the shoulders are so important given years in the gym, I have trained 25 years now so its helps alot.

The way he is talking to Jimmy its like he is on cocaine or molly. I imagine it could also be a obscene amount of pre-workout.

I legit got an all too familiar chill when he said “where is your CAC!?”

That banded warm up in the beginning is a great idea, is there a name for that type of banded stretch, or just his own thing?

Did you listen to him?

i've been doing nothing but dumbbell press for a really long time. i can do the 100s . i guess that's not terrible for 150lbs bodyweight but i wonder if it would be better if i had mixed in flat bench.

Barbell will allow for much more strength development.

If you can get someone to coach you and help you learn it properly so that you can execute It safely, Go for it, otherwise, keep doing what you're doing because you will be able to do it for much much longer. I prefer doing things in the neutral grip like pull-ups overhead press with a log and of course a Swiss bar for the bench

Probably at least two plates.

@@LatimusChadimus for sure. also i ended up getting a nice setup for my dumbbell pressing during covid so now i don't want to leave the house to go to a gym anymore. if i had more time on my hands it might be fun to train like that, but like you said, only safe to do with a really good coach. still i think a lot of the advice in this video is useful for anyone doing any pressing movements. especially the interesting warmups.

That 750 was so much better than the 735. Seemed like 750 touched faster then the 735 he didn't slow bar too chest
