This looks great .... and almost what I want, which is a viable system to take camping. If you can come-up with a solution that dispenses draft beer, without using my camp fridge, doesn’t need ice, and can run on 12v power, I’m your first customer!

I am totally behind you on this one. We have been working on a new mini kegerator that is 12v. IT was briefly mentioned in a webinar that you can watch here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y5WUqp6NYrt7mtk It's a bit of a long webinar but perhaps you can fast forward to 1hr and 5 min into the video to see the mini-kegerator model that we are talking about. Do you think you would prefer a 12v glycol chiller like this or more of a mini 12v kegerator.

@@KegLand Awesome, thanks for your prompt response. The glycol chiller makes good sense to me (I also run the Grainfather Glycol chiller with a couple of stainless fermenters). Only other thing for consideration would include security - I would propose to install the unit in the back of the car, so would need to secure any lids or openings, maybe locks for the taps and some tie-down points (either at the base enabling me to screw it to an internal drawer system or at some other point, which enabled cable tie-downs).

A cool room panel box for the kegs which you can put the unit on as well , along with python for lines from the unit running to the kegs would be ideal .

Yes absolutely. Sorry should have done this in the video to make it more obvious. Yes you can definitely have two kegs so you have different beers on each tap.

Would this work to dispense nitrogen beers provided we attached the appropriate spout? Is this good for commercial kegs as well as home kegs?

Totally! You can actually just swap out the spout, so not expensive either> Will work with homebrew or commercial kegs

Not at this stage. We only have plans to make these AC at the moment. So are you interested in a unit for camping?

@@KegLand for camping, off grid, and general flexibility for use. Do you know what the expected power consumption is?

@@lifehealthlive If you are not pouring beers the idle power consumption is quite low and averages 10watts approximately. The wattage obviously increases when you start pulling beers. Lets say you have a keg that is 25C and you want to tap the whole keg in 1 hr. To chill 20L keg in this type you will consume approximately 200watt/hrs. If this was a 12v system then you can expect that the power draw to dispense a 20L keg over the course of an 8hr day you can expect that you will draw 3amps at 12v for the whole 8 hr period. Something like that.

That's one big ugly machine, sorry The pygmy 40 is smaller, lighter and much less hassle. It does 40liter X 2 and it does that 5 minutes after you turn it on.

the pygmy does 20 x 1 even if it is with two taps ,or unless is with refrigerated keg and during the summer time your beer will be worm not cold enough,i have experienced this here in south of italy!
