Just a quick tip for bending lure wire. For you lure makers who need to bend wire accurately, here's a pro tip to avoid the most common mistake. I made the same mistake a half dozen times before I figured out I was bending the wrong part of the wire....

Why not heat wire with torch then bends easily

If you heat it it can become annealed and stay easy to bend after cooled.

I use stainless steel leader wire from 140 to 180 lb strength.

My hands are raw from .051 wire bending...
