Benny should get a Title shot after he wins this fight. Its a very interesting match up because both are great on the ground. Benny just never needed to use it thus far in his UFC fights. People that personally knows Beneil calls him Benny. Great person outside of MMA. Used to train at his Gym at Kings mma. Not your typical MMA fighter. No ego whatsoever. I have a very good friend to this day that I was on the wrestling team with in high school and we all shaved our heads for a tournament and dyed our hair blue. In all probability Charles is going to win. I like Beny but Charles is the Colby Covington of the lightweight division and even more so. We're all lovestruck by Justin and that gutsy win right now but Charles beat him and he beat Chandler and he beat Dustin. Who else in the game right now can say that? Charles should've been given an automatic rematch IMO but if he beats Beny it's really just a matter of does he get it before Justin and honestly, he should. There's only so far we can go here before we lose too much respect from the fans. Truthfully if that happened it could be the best thing for Justin who should double down say I'm next get that verbal promise from Dana and then go train. More time to get ready and another Islam fight to watch before you have to fight him. Justin should not have to fight another fight to get a shot even though we all would love to see that Justin/Dustin rematch. As Chael said if we fight them against one another that ends one of their runs to a championship fight. I for one would like to see Islam fight both of them. They're just too big for that to not happen. IMO the lightweight division right now is the blessed place where multiple legends of this sport are active and at the top of their game at one time. Dustin is a legend and off an awesome win over Chandler, Justin is a legend and off an awesome win over Fitzaev. One hundred percent if they fight whoever wins is in line for a shot. We have too many legends at lightweight to futz with rankings right now and not make sure all these guys get a shot at Islam. I don't want to see them fight each other yet. I do want to see them fight Islam. After that depending on how well they do against Islam fighting one another would be a massive main event for the ages and have implications for the winner on one more shot. Even both already having had a shot at Islam the winner of that fight IMO is one more fight away from another chance. For the love of God do this for the fans. Now that really does make sense. The only thing that could change all this is if Islam fights Volk again, fights Charles again and say's I'm going to 170 but that opens up all kinds of run off possibility at 155.

There was already heaps of hype around islam because ali and javier kept saying "he's the next khabib" then it stuck and everyone kept believing he was gonna be the next khabib. Ufc just build their hype trains and give them privilege they know if they force islam to keep ranked guys there's a chance he can lose and it derails the hype train and their prospect. So from a sales perspective they're gonna give him an easy way to the belt and then match him against guys he's most likely to beat to protect him. They did it with khabib, they did it with conor, they're not doing the same with paddy and sean o'malley. Probably khamzat and bo nickal too will get the same treatment. Then when ufc see's fighters that don't have this hype around them whether it be dariush or tony ferguson ufc does them dirty and never gives them fights they deserve
