Ian Moss is so like fine wine. The older it gets the better it tastes. Mossy you are the ultimate postman. You NEVER fail to deliver the best goods in pristine form. I watched your performance live over here in New Zealand. During 'Tucker's Daughter' I swear I couldn't stop wellin' up bro. Followed Chisel and your solo career since the beginning. I was privileged to see Chisel perform at The Dunedin Town Hall on Saturday 24th September 1983 - I was 19 only 42 days away from turning 20. What a gig! Barnes climbed a speaker until some clown on the floor threw something at him. Push the fast forward button. And then my wife and I flew over to the Gold Coast to see V8 Supercars in Surfers Paradise in 2015. We had to attend the Chisel gig at Broadwater Parklands on 24th October. As I had my near-death motorcycle accident here in New Zealand in 1990 when I was 26, I lost my entire left leg as high up as my hip and left side of my pelvis amputated as well. I suffered several other serious internal injuries too. Surgeons believed my high fitness level greatly contributed to me surviving. Spent 21 days in the Intensive Care Unit of 2 hospitals, and 101 days in total. At the very start of your gig I stood up on my one good right leg and used my crutches for stability. I never sat down again on the grass paddock. Chisel played 28 songs that evening. The group never sounded so great. Barnes's energy was sublime. The group fed off the awesome atmosphere that evening. And how about Mossy's axe work - so on form! At the conclusion of the gig I remarked to my wife that I felt the gig was acutally BETTER than when I originally saw Chisel in NZ all those 32 years ago...THANK YOU Ian Moss, so love your work sir!

A great duet sung by two iconic Aussie singers. Kate"s angel voice from the heavens meets Ian Moss's earthy, grounded tones - but it works!

Ian Moss - a huge talent. A mark of a great guitarist is when you hear them play you know who it is by their unique style. And he has an awesome gutsy bluesy voice. Great arrangements and staging for this performance too.

That Kate Miller lady basically butchered Flame Trees

Yeah…….naaaah. Butchering is what Jess Mauboy did by replacing ‘bullshit’ with ‘stuff’ in her version……Love this unique take on the classic
