Great tips to help me decide to paint an old 50's dresser. Would like to see you give tips on how to update mid to late 70's ornate furniture that used plastic drawer fronts to mimic Italian wood carving designs. I have not been able to find a how to video yet. Need ideas and suggestions and a direction to go with my bedroom set. Thanks.

Hello! You do not need to apply a protective topcoat over top of Advance or Cabinet Coat Paint. These paints dry to a hard finish and meant hold up on their own.

What about those paints where you don't have to sand or do anything! I just ordered some on amazon to paint a laminate dresser. 😊

I guess it works, but you'll get a better result if you sand it. Prepping is everything.
