I feel my feelings usually in back of my spine. Whenever a thought or story from that feeling arises I say "let it go" or "its just my stupid mind talking" and exale. Some feelings take 2-3 days and some weeks. Constant pain in the spine which my mind wants to resist. Eventually you will feel lighter. Let go of the resistance. Thank you for sharing this video. It's really important to share the wisdom of this book to the world where everyone is suffering constantly.

Letting go is just accepting however you are feeling in that moment. It will go away instantly. Letting go is not breathing out bad emotions or resistance. Face it directly. If you are angry then say you are angry. If you are sad, embarrassed shameful, then say it. We dont need to attach deeper meaning to the feelings, but just observe the fact that it is there. Then everything becomes an act of graceful observance. No need to meditate or breathe it out or sit in it for days. This is letting go. It will be released without effort because it is our authentic truth. The truth of the observer. That I am-ness that is constant

Spot on - I was shown this by a healer, and have eventually learned that by allowing the feeling to be it does pass. Sometimes it can seem overwhelming, but I now turn and say "I see you, I feel you, I recognise you have a purpose' and it has been transformative. Sometimes I'll find the lesson/association/memory it's attached to and just acknowledge it exists in this form because I create it - even if it is in my subconscious, or not apparently under my control. It's so interesting as the lightness that comes afterwards almost gives a reason to generate more of the same! Years of EFT seemed to bring up the feelings but did not bring me much resolution, but facing the feelings has helped them to change their quality - so far, anyway.

does this works in the case of anxiety? I have some pain in my chest. I know its nothing physically wrong over there is just a blocked emotion, and I don`t know how to handle it. A few times I managed to let go of it but it came back. I literally feel how the energy has been released from that area. But for some reason I can`t do it again. it seems like doesn`t work anymore. Thank you!
@PurposeLabChannel3 ай бұрын
According to Dr. Hawkins (and my own experience as well) this practice DOES help with anxiety. But that being said, anxiety comes in many forms and degrees, and it's likely not something a few sessions of this practice will completely release. I would recommend trying this practice IN ADDITION to whatever other tools or treatments you are using for anxiety to see how it might help by releasing some of those knots at the energetic level. Also, when anxiety is flaring, it can be tough to dive in to a practice like this, so it's good to practice with "lighter and easier" emotions and moments. I hope that is helpful!

@PurposeLabChannel3 ай бұрын
I agree completely. In the beginning there are a lot of emotions that flow because they've been "contained" for so long. But holding space and letting the good and the bad feelings process definitely brings a feeling of lightness and possibility. I've found that in the long run there is less roller coaster of emotions and more stability and the releases are less intense. Everyone's journey is different thought. Thanks for your practice and keep it up!

I'm still not sure if I understand this process. Let's say you are thinking about something unpleasant from the past, then the feeling comes up. In order to keep this feeling going for 90 seconds, you have to keep thinking about the unpleasant event, otherwise that feeling disappears?!
@PurposeLabChannel27 күн бұрын
@halcyon-cg2eb great question! It's not so much you make an effort for it to last 90 seconds. When the feeling comes up you simply keep your awareness on it, focusing on the energy "beneath" the feeling and letting it flow. It may or may not last a full 90 seconds. The important thing is to just let it process without adding to the movie about it in your mind. I hope that helps!?
