There are different types of regional authentic Chinese salads ranging from the complex to as simple as cucumbers tossed in a Chinese dressing, but not anything like the ones at Costco. Those are definitely American salads that are inspired by Asian flavours. The authentic salads are way more tastier and diverse in depth of flavours and ingredients. Here are a few examples of authentic Chinese salads… Northern Salads: Tiger Salad, Three-Sliver Salad Coastal Salad: Jellyfish Salad Southern Salads: Smashed Cucumber Salad, Eggplant Salad, Slivered Potato Salad, Prosperity Salad/Cantonese Raw Fish Salad (I’m Canadian-Cantonese but I haven’t tried the last one yet) Perhaps you could consider making one or a few of these on your channel? I think you would love them! They go well with meat and/or noodle dishes.

I find you didn’t focus on the Vietnamese items at your Costco. Or maybe they don’t have them where you live. They should have the moon cakes, which are good, but way too sweet. It’s Moon Festival season so they will bring out those moon cakes. They also have Chinese Sausage which in Vietnamese cooking is used in things like Bao, Soy, and fried Rice. You should really try cooking some Vietnamese dishes. Not just Pho. There are so many good recipes. Bunh Xeo is one. Even Bunh Mi sandwiches are so good. Vietnamese have the best French bread.
