Love Nami's recipes. I've made some of her Japanese dishes before and it always turns out delicious. This looks so good and simple to make.

Has ALDI grocery store made it out to Washington yet? I hope you consider visiting and making an entire video on that

Yes! That would be interesting!

That looks delicious. I like the flavors of a sweet sauce on rice. As a Cambodian we have a dish made with pork belly soy sauce, black pepper, and boiled eggs. It’s so yummy with jasmine rice. It’s called caramelized pork belly ( Kaw each chourk)

I love to pour the egg in once the onions turn translucent and the soy base reduces to about 1/2.

New goal: to make this 😍 thanks Benji for showing us!!! I gotta say I've been to Tokyo once, and I've seen the chefs cook with chopsticks and seeing you cook with them brings some good memories that I have to go back. Ps. they love eating spaghetti with chopsticks too. Love the culture 🍜

Thank you Benji, I appreciate you honoring my 2-part dish request--to cook a Japanese dish your mom cooked for you from your childhood. 😊Oyakodon is heaven! 👏❤ I just love it...this is the new breakfast of champions! 💪and a comfort food in one!❤ So excited for the next one...☘😉

Benji, I followed your recipe, but the dish turned out too sweet. You did mention 3 tablespoons of sugar right? To reduce the sweetness I added a tablespoon of chilli sauce.
@BenjiManTV11 ай бұрын
Yeah 3 may be too much if you like it on the savory side.

Why do you cook so little for such a big family?
@sabrinal910111 ай бұрын
I always thought the same but every family is different and I love bento and judy

Coz thyre all girls except for benji. Boys, esp teenage men are usually more ravenous than their women counterparts
@renettetomagan296111 ай бұрын
why are you so concerned? Typically in Asian countries or specifically Japanese countries the serving size for a dish is different despite having a big family. for mine, we were taught to share and not over eat
@vlogwithnelly10 ай бұрын
in asia normally we eat it with rice which is very heavy already

I can't believe you really think that tiny amount of chicken is enough for your entire family plus your sister. SMH.
@LexiieMou-ts3wn11 ай бұрын
I thought the same thing… that portion of chicken seems barely enough for two people??
@babychococat12311 ай бұрын
It looks like they were eating it for breakfast and intended to be on the lighter side. Also there were eggs so I think it’s the right amount of protein for the kids. Even if you give kids lots of meat they tend not to eat it.
