Not sure whether most customers would act like Ben - I for one, would not - but most customers do run numbers similar to Ben’s numbers. Concerning depreciating numbers, buying a new to 3 year old Bentley is like catching a falling knife. OTOH a new or late model 911 is like money in the bank at a high interest rate.

The smartest thing you did was take that extended warranty, my father has a Mulsanne as well a few days ago the car threw a check engine light on, it went to the service center and my dad was quoted 12,000 USD engine out repair, luckily my dad being stubborn and having a good relationship with the manager managed to negotiate it down to 5,500 USD, so just so you know a warranty is a must on these cars.

They crack off inside the block and you think you've got a blown head gasket WHICH YOU DO but the root cause is those damn aluminium head bolts. At least Mercedes makes a good hardy engine but they have censor failures over and over. So you're forever doing censor replacements but you're not going to see a broken head bolt in over 30 years.

Everyone has their own negotiating style. Ben is loud and bold so he negotiates to intimidate. Personally I try to set up the fairest deals possible with a predetermined, very difficult to counter number in mind. I do everything to be extremely transparent within reason from the jump & I stick by that fair number. My style will work for everyone. It is far easier than what Ben does. I often get my deals done for the exact prices I want on the first try; and you just can’t beat that.
