My Godmother gave over half of her lifetime income to Benny Hinn, Jim Baker, Kenneth Copeland, trying to sow good seeds for Jesus and the Gospel… she lost so much in all she gave, and never recovered from it emotionally, although Jesus never let her go, and she never lost her faith… it was never about the money for her, but when they all turned out to be liars and cheats, it broke her heart, and her giving heart did not deserve that. When I met my husband 40 years ago, he thought the television evangelists like Benny Hinn were the face of Christianity. It took me 9 years of praying daily over his pillow after after he left for work (don’t laugh, I was a young wife 😂) and finally a friend he played basketball with invited him to play on a church league from a sound church. One morning, he said “hey, you wanna go with me to Joe’s church and out to lunch after? He and his wife will meet us outside and sit with us.” Long story short, my sweet hubby was baptized a month later. We’ve raised 5 children in the Lord now and are grandparents to little ones being raised in the Lord! From atheism and drugs and alcohol to Christ!! Praise the Lord for men’s leagues and sound churches. 🙏❤️

The second was a warning from this team to stop anyone that rushed the stage because we were "nicer" than them! We would deal with them gentler than them. The smallest guy on his team was 6'4 or 5 and probably 130kg of solid muscle. And they weren't Ausralian so they travellled with him.

That mentality of having a "religious spirit" was a phrase used against me by my ex-fiancée 2 years ago when she was following these exact teachings, some from Benny himself. She said something to me one day which led to the end of the relationship, which was something like "If you don't understand the scripture, stop reading it and just worship and it'll make sense later." Basically admitting that scripture doesn't align with the teachings, but ignoring it and just listening to the teachers. It's absolutely an effective tactic used by wolves in sheep's clothing to make the masses fight for you under the guise of a "religious spirit." Keep fighting the good fight brother, there are so many victims to these kinds of teachers.

David's heart in that moment was pure, that's my point. I'm challenged this anointed debate that I hear frequently. Benny is a fool for saying the things he's said. But equally foolish are those who demand others repentance to 'look perfect' before accepting it. We don't genuinely know Benny's heart. He isn't a man I long to emulate, but neither are the people who say "this person isn't anointed". The story of Saul and David is literally about this topic, and should be considered and not immediately thrown out. For evidence in the new testament, Jesus pointed to a Samaritan as a testimony. A man considered by the religious jews to be beyond saving, but by his actions was considered righteous. A parable challenging the contemporary idea of anointing and God's pleasure in men. Benny isn't such a man as the Samaritan, but to say he isn't anointed is not your place. I don't say that he is or isn't. Flippancy is not virtue.

I had no idea about Benny Hinn before your video. In the past I used to believe everything that was told me because they were a "preacher". Somehow makes the the holy grail when they are not. My church at that time supported Benny Hinn.We went to see him in 98 and I never questioned it. Many Christians are like this believing because their pastor said so. and it's not a good thing. We should be taking what is being taught in any church even the ones who really teach the Bible. Test the spirits.

Benny Hinn 'repented' a couple of years ago. Within weeks of 'repenting' he landed in Nigeria and did a cash grab with another false teacher from Nigeria Chris Oyakhilome. I agree with Mike here, this latest repentance is damage control.

Benny Hinn cannot repay restitution because he doesn’t have any money left. That’s probably why he turned back after the 2019 so called repentance is because his lifestyle and image won’t allow him to live a humble and lowly life. The his flesh is calling for more money and to make sure his image is intact. It takes a lot to truly repent and not worry how you look. It is humbling. Thank Pastor Mike, I enjoy your teachings.

Benny Hinn has always been a phoney. I found that out back in the 90's when I volunteered to be in a choir for his convention in Philly. LOL He stopped in the middle of the "show" and said "SHHHHHHH, SHHHHHHH the Holy Spirit is talking" Of course the Holy Spirit was telling us all to donate money for a private jet for Benny. THEN he did the exact same thing when he showed up in Baltimore Maryland.😂 The Holy Spirit was right on time with that word for Benny's jet! 😂 This was back in the early 90's BTW. Brother Mike, some of these guys KNOW they are headed for Hell, they just don't care.🤷🏾‍♀️

When I received prophecies from several “ministers”, I took them so seriously that I based every decision thereafter according to their prophecies making sure I wasn’t in God’s way of bringing to pass His prophecies in my life. None of them came to pass. Twenty years following these teachings and hoping to see the prophecies fulfilled. It is harmful. God actually opened my eyes through Brother Mike’s videos. God have mercy and may God work all things together for good to those who love Him-especially people like me who received false prophecies and ran with it. 🙏🏼

Thank you Mike for staying put and not buckling to the mounting resistance against you. It's clear that your thoroughly reasoned and researched video on Benny Hinn was welded in step with scripture. You weren't just reasonable, you provided an abundance of evidence for your claims, so contextualized and fairly laid out, with buffers on either side of the clips that it would be wholly unreasonable to bring any criticism other than at the point itself... The only thing is that you would have to deny or bend scripture to deny what you laid out. Even still, you gave gracious critique and emphasized room for alternative interpretations, and the importance of the viewer reaching their own scripturally guided conclusions. You provided a way out for Hinn, and yet, through all of the grace you showed, Hinn has seemingly (from what you laid out in this video) took that grace and used it as a headwind to run from his mistakes, rather than run to the father. I've just started trying to read the bible properly, many thanks to you and this stands out to me, forgive me I know it's not quite the right context for this but Mathew 21 v33-42, notably 43-46 I pray this brings you hope. Although Hinn has tried to take your content down, and others seek to defame you, they recognise they can only go so far without raising a crowd against them, so they have to resort to these tactics because they cannot hold anything to your criticisms head-on. Jesus says this directed at the Pharisees (perhaps we can substitute false teachers here) “43 "Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit. 44 Anyone who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; anyone on whom it falls will be crushed.” 45 When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard Jesus’ parables, they knew he was talking about them. 46 They looked for a way to arrest him, but they were afraid of the crowd because the people held that he was a prophet." Again, this is perhaps an overstep on my part to link the situations, but it is eerily similar at the very least. We should remember as you have pointed out, to continue to seek and guide their return and repentance, but to be as wise as serpents and innocent as doves as we do so. I pray they turn from their ways, or that they pray for God to help them want to do that if they can't manage yet, then pray for God's help to turn from their ways and see it through, embracing the outstretched arm from the body of Christ along this, their narrow path and trial. With God, all things are possible. They may yet turn back. I could say more but I'll leave it at this, thank you, Mike, your exploration of scripture has been a great blessing in my life. You have helped me allow myself to enjoy scripture even though the act of reading or concentrating on it at all is complex torment, it has brought light into my life. I have especially appreciated the way you humbly approach hard and unpopular topics in the bible. You clearly care so deeply, and your character brims forth resoundingly in all your videos, even in sickness and trials, concealed or otherwise, what a service you have given to the body of Christ. Numbers 6:24-26 NIV "The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace." - Amen, God bless you Mike!

Agree. Mike is walking in spiritual pride. Mike has made a video full of assumptions. Even Benny admits his own sin. Mike is walking in deep spiritual pride in all this. We see in this video how smug Mike is, continuing to make false assumptions, as if Mike is the appointed vessel of God to take Benny Hinn down. Many in the body of Christ recognize Mike is at fault but Mike in spiritual pride is missing his subscriber and viewer base to lead many astray. It’s a foul attitude coming from Mike. Foul pride.
