I was extremely open with you, and honest. I told you that you had the serpent telling the truth and God lying. I also explained several other critiques that I repeated in this video. I think what you are saying here, along with saying that I selectively edited you out of context to misrepresent you, is deceptive. My only concern about having that private chat with you was that you would later misrepresent it the way you have misrepresented Scripture for your own purposes. My intention was not to talk publicly about our private conversation because I think it’s rude and lends itself toward one party being able to act like they are the spokesman for the other, when we obviously disagree on some very important things. But if you are going to bring it up to undermine me with false allegations then I’m going to respond.

It shows he is currently deceived.... but I don't think it shows an allegiance to Satan. Obviously if he's deceived, he won't be consistent with the truth... and being a teacher, he will be judged accordingly should he fail to repent... but if he's sincere about his love for Christ, the Holy Spirit will guide him to truth. If he's not, I pray he becomes sincere about it. By all means, rebuke... but we are not the judges of his heart. That alone is God's responsibility.

@nqnix_ Someone may have already told him the gospel, and he may have already rejected it in unbelief. If he did, you can't pray that away. Pray for the ignorant who are listening to him, that God would show them truth and remove the scales from their eyes. The willfully ignorant are a different story. They want teachings that tickle their ears, and tell them what THEY want to hear, and not what God actually says. They are in rebellion against the LORD. You may want to pray that God give them a humbling like he did for Nebuchanezzar. You need to discern what you are dealing with, and act accordingly. Sometimes the iniquity is full and the wound is incurable. If they reject God's truth, let your peace return to you and move on to tell another. There are different soils of the heart out there, some will land on good soil, but some won't. Read the parable of the sower of the seed in all the gospel accounts it is contained within (Matthew, Mark, and Luke), so read them all. God Bless.

What we need to do is tell people to read all their bible themselves, for it will protect them from false teachers. I have still to find a clear explanation of how that is not exactly what happened. God said, "on the DAY that you eat of it you shall surely DIE." They ate and continued to live for centuries. The serpent said, "You shall not surely die for god knows that when you eat of it you shall become like him knowing good and evil." And sure enough they become like god in the respect that they know good and evil. The serpent even enlightens us about gods motivation because god later says "Lest they eat of the tree of life and become like one of us and live forever." (something along those lines I don't have the exact quote any more) I have long thought that the god of the old testament seems very different than the god of the new. That's one of the reasons I began to incorporate some aspects of Gnosticism into my spirituality.

I was pagan for 7 years and when I accepted Jesus I didn't know the Bible and I watched a lot of Tiktok, which is where I found this guy. I had no way of knowing that what he was saying was false and a lot of it sounded right to me. It wasn't until I deleted Tiktok and began studying the Bible that I understood how warped his ministry is and as a new Christian he almost led me away from God. It was God who convicted me to get rid of Tiktok and it's been mindblowing to see how he saved me from something I didn't even realize was a problem. This teaching is so so evil and dangerous.

Im so thankful for your videos. I was away from God for many years. And December of last year God woke me up and told me to read my bible. I was so sick with an infection that the doctors didn't even know what it was. The whole left side of my face and neck was swollen almost three times its normal size.. I opened my bible and read all day and have read everyday since. setting up in my bed God touched and healed me . Thank you Jesus. Good discussion…I appreciate Mike's scholarship, reasoning, details, faithfulness to biblical guidelines, and attitude… Whether consciously or unconsciously, Brandon has/creates a theology that at points not only distorts written biblical boundaries but also "expands" those biblical boundaries to the extent of being outside of the biblical boundaries altogether… Per 2 John 1:9-11: "Anyone who goes too far and does not remain in the teaching of Christ, does not have God; the one who remains in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house, and do not give him a greeting; for the one who gives him a greeting participates in his evil deeds." When I first got saved, I was reading Revelation, and came to the part where fire came down upon the people, and they were cursing God. I struggled. It had never really hit me before, that if they would just repent (biblical repentance), they would be saved but they won't do it.... I told God how I didn't think it was fair. Because if He came back 2 weeks ago, that would have been me, just as easily. My wife hears from God in images, and for me, it's kind of like an internal, inspired idea. And the idea that welled up from within me was: "But I didn't come back 2 weeks ago. I, alone, know the time." It really has stuck with me forever, because I felt immediate peace about it... I still have a burden for those people described in Revelation, because I see my friends and family... I just trust that God will do it when it is right... But whenever I get like what you're talking about, looking for judgment, I think back to 2 week saved Ken, and how "it could have been me" It's a sobering feeling 😅

No, Adam and Eve didn’t die immediately… They got to watch the destruction of their family though when Sin entered their world and one of their sons killed the other. And they died later after getting to watch an awful lot of sad things happen. And God doesn’t say that he denies knowledge to Adam and Eve, he just prohibits them from getting it through eating the fruit. After all, God is walking and talking with them every day before this all happens. It’s not like they’re going to have these conversations with God, daily, for eternity and never learn anything. The temptation was about being like God, which is what Lucifer/Satan wanted for himself. Half truth. Truth mixed with a lie or two or three or four.

I just said that they got to see the destruction in their family, And we get to see the subsequent consequences. As for Brandon, if that is Brandon, which I don’t think it is for too many reasons to go into here, he doesn’t have the cognitive wherewithal to rub two thoughts together and come up with an idea that makes sense. Brandon’s teaching eerily remind me of Aleister Crowley’s theology(Do as though wilt shall be the whole of the law)… Basically it echoes and imitates the manner in which the devil works. Putting thoughts in peoples heads, what they’re really doing is for the betterment of everyone! You make me think of the scripture where the devil comes to tempt Jesus himself. Or as if the general opinions of Satan hold weight even in the face of God and his teachings/works.That's inherently manipulative, and a strangely bold tactic. What was Satan right about exactly? Was it everything or simply one idea? Simply the fruit of the tree? It's a strange way of attempting to equate the two figures when in truth it's apples to oranges.

I think that the difference between sympathy and empathy is apt here in relation to the knowledge that was gained from the fruit of knowledge. Empathy is being able to observe and have compassion for something outside of our experiences. An immortal Adam and Eve may be able to empathise with death. Sympathy is having compassion and understanding for the experiences that we share with other people. The knowledge that was gained was the sympathetic experiences of suffering. Adam and Eve came to know personally what suffering and plight was. Not a pleasant knowledge to have. Sometimes to fully know something we are burdened to experience ut ourselves. It is much better to care for burdens we do not face than to know of a burden by facing it. The serpent gave them the knowledge to truly know what suffering was and what it felt like.

@@nataliea3936 Eating the fruit did not change their lifespan at all. God implied that it would kill them and it didn't, so God lied. The serpent said that it would make them like God and it did. Afterwards God even says that eating the fruit made them like him. They were kicked out of the Garden of Eden after that because they were in danger of becoming too much like God and God wanted them to stay inferior. So yes, God lied and the serpent told the truth.

I spent nearly a decade living as an openly gay man, eventually ending up in the heart of the Castro in San Francisco. Almost 20 years ago exactly I went to my first service at the Metropolitan Community Church in SF; it was comforting in a way, but the longer I was there the more hungry I became for one thing - truth. I was being pursued by the “hounds of heaven “ as my friends would later say - a front page article in the SF Chronicle would eventually lead me to a true Bible preaching church in the Mission district, and in January of 2004 I finally stopped running and let Jesus find me. I pray the men and women listening to this man’s teaching will find themselves hungry for the same truth and pursued by the same God who so relentlessly pursued me.

The deepest truth of humans is that we have unique tendencies for both good and evil. That's why no one can replace us or make us unnecessary. But that's also why we are susceptible to specific mistakes. We are shaped not just by circumstances but by our own gifts to be more prone to certain sins (and for certain virtues to come more easily to us than others, too). We struggle with that our whole lives and while we absolutely can learn to keep those aspects of our nature under control and not let them define us, and virtue - just like everything else - becomes easier with practice even to the point of "second nature", all of us have to deny ourselves from indulging some parts of ourselves. It's not "fair" that some people's tendencies seem to be heavier to deal with than others - but even if it was true, at the same time, resisting those temptations can be a source of an even greater good, too. (Also our justice is not God's justice). Having exclusively same-sex attractions is indeed a very hard cross because it might make you unable to marry and have children, which we all want on an instinctual level and it's much harder to accept that there's something so deeply ingrained in you which makes you ineligible for it than it is to accept an external circumstance that makes it so. But as we can see from the example of people who choose to not have families, it can actually free you to love people even more deeply. It's definitely not a more difficult lot in life than, for example, an illness. The only reason we see it that way is because we've been taught and shaped by the lie that sexual pleasure is a right and literally the most important thing in the world, and we cannot imagine a happy and fulfilling life without it. A second candidate is money, but people at least accept that not everyone will have money, while they think it's literally impossible to not have orgasms. That is a false god like no other.
