My local fish store had a 4-5" Arapaima for sale, it is like a small family business. And the owner told me he usually brings Arapaimas once a week

So, the big tank you were talking about. The one with the African cichlids swimming around and you saying the big fish are obviously well fed or they'd be wiped out, That's actually a 4400 gallon tank. The tank with the rays is 2000 gallons, I think. As far as the turtles go, they're known as Fly River or Pig-nosed turtles.
