I had the fault C21 code and after watching this video I ordered this part DA31-00287B Refrigerator Evaporator Fan from Amazon will fix your C21 code at least it did for my fridge that wasn't getting cold I have the Samsung Model# RF27T5241SR this is the fan that is in the inside bottom freezer drawer behind the gray panel. Easy fix and saved over $500 for repairs by doing it myself. The fan only cost $25 on Amazon.

Did you figure it out? If your fridge has a lock button first hold that down to unlock it, then hold the filter reset button to remove the flashing.

Hey ben i have a new bespoke rf29bb. The top fridge section wont cool right. The rest wotks great aka freezer dual ice makers flex zone. My temp set to 34 but ink bird 3 probes wont go below 41. Normally 41-45 degree f. If i force cool it goes down to 35. Any suggestions.

I have another question about my Samsung refrigerator. Iam not getting any ice made it’s not frozen up. I was told it was a water valve in the ice maker because it’s not getting water . My question is , is the water valve in the ice maker or is it outside the ice maker? I was told the problem is the valve isn’t sending a signal to the circuit board that’s why Iam not getting ice. The water works fine I have plenty of pressure. Thanks

A few models do have that but most don't. You just want to use the full system defrost. If the other compartments don't need defrosted, the sensors will shut them off pretty fast.

Ben, Thanks for this video. Nothing else I’ve seen addresses this Samsung interface. My RF28R6201SR works correctly except for 2 problems. 1 - it cheerfully chirps at random times, though mainly when we’re nearby. If I open the door quickly at these times it’s displaying the codes “on” followed by “Ar” in the fridge area of the display. 2 - I’m unable to do anything using the interface panel. I can’t change temperature, unlock the panel, run diagnostics etc. Samsung customer service said I must be mistaken but gave me the local service agents info. The agent said the codes are impossible and that I didn’t know how to read the display. After I sent them a video of the problem they said they could come out and look at it but it might be a long process of trial and error. Any thoughts on how to proceed?

So my ice maker won’t come out and it’s probably froze up and needs defrosted. I held in fridge and flexzone and got it in fd. It’s now beeping. How long do I need to wait? Does this sound correct to defrost the ice maker? Thanks.

Let it run for 20-30min. it SHOULD unthaw the icemaker. If it doesn't, try the other forced defrost mode as well.

@@adamwoerner5567 yes, if its in really awful shape. If it doesnt work after 3-4 tries, you'd want to try a garmet steamer to blow steam in to rip the ice out.

I have this exact Samsung . It is working but seems to be stuck in sabbath mode. No lights inside and the control panel is not lit up. Any secret to fix this. I tried to turn off using the 2 bottom buttons on the panel. The manual says 85 hrs once it activates. Any suggestions? Thanks

If ice maker makes ice but won’t dispense it through door (yet water dispenser does work), is it more likely a bad auger motor assembly or the in-door dispenser switch at fault?

Quick question. I only want to defrost my ice maker. If I put my refrigerator in fd mode will it also defrost and melt everything in my bottom freezer along with ice maker?? I don’t want to to defrost my freezer at the bottom.

Its not going to melt anything. Each system has a thermostat that will turn the heater off when it reaches a temperature that could warm up the cabinet beyond your evaporator coils. Otherwise, the fresh food option should just to top fridge/icemaker and not freezer.

I don't know if you ever fixed this issue, but I had the same problem, and found a video to fix it, you just need to clean the pitcher every time you use it, it drips water and that triggers the sensor and stops the water from working, hope it helps
