The best "guests are coming" skit I've ever seen was the one by Chris Fleming because the scenario was taken to an extreme. It was a moment within a series about stereotypes about soccer moms all taken to the furthest extent. I still regularly quote it because it goes further than "clean your room" Gayle (the mother) goes from her baseline normal (which is already extreme) to erratic and uncontrollable in so little time and in a very funny way. Unfortunate that so many skits about a topic that can be funny are so copy paste.
