Well especially H9 3rd Gen do a great job when used with a DAC amp with mild amplification (I know with 30 Ohms it sounds idiotic, but actually they get more control overall and become even more neutral). They sound absolutely stunning with HiRes-Files btw.

Agree with some other people, you DO buy these for wired, at least I did. Yes, you can use Bluetooth but adding a DAC and wired makes a great combination. Impedance aside as it obviously would be even better if that was higher, but I do listen to flac and mqa via Tidal (THX Onyx) and the H9 3rd gen sound amazing. I was thinking about getting the H95 or the HX but so far they don't appear to sound as nice. I came here to get help comparing. Also I use noise cancelling for flights and noisy areas on the H9 and it seems perfect for me. Wish the new ones had more bottom end. The H95 doesn't have passive. Do the HX have passive wires option?

Sure thing! I bought it from the Bang & Olufsen store in Chadstone Shopping Centre. TBH, I think that they didn't sell it online. IDK, not 100% sure. But IMO the Timber colour is much better when both of them are side-by-side. Hope that helps @Joshua Frost

They are the same driver units inside.... I have the H9 3rd, the main thing that they could have done to improve them is to ged rid of the round donut earcups, and introduce the oval one, and make them a bit deeper because i found my ears touching the driver cloth, also after long your ears getting hot...not breath at all, so they could use a kind of porus material maybe textile based like the Apple...

Not the same drivers - H9 3rd Gen and HX have a completely different sound. Also, to be noted, the H9 in the video are H9i, not H9 3rd Gen.

​@@bjrnsjohnsen1278seriously, it's not H9 3rd Gen. It's H9i. The headband you can't see it clear enough to determine the model. What you can see is the power switch, which *doesn't* have the notches that the H9 3rd Gen have. It's a "flat" power switch, typical of H9i. Plus, it lacks the deep grooves on the aluminium panels (where the different angles of the aluminium surface meet each other) which the H9 3rd Gen has.

@@bjrnsjohnsen1278 at 5:35, if you set the video resolution to max and you zoom in, you can clearly see the power switch is flat - like that of H9i. The H9 3rd Gen power switch has 5 "notches" on it that make it more "grippable".
