Great video. The sound comparison you did showed a difference. Can you get confirmation that something has been tweeked? If DSP was involved, it maybe could be introduced as a firmware upgrade on the existing BS1:s. Love my BS1 though 😊👍

I'm a 18 year old b&o fan, i got my first beocenter and 2 beolab 6000speakers 2 years ago from my dads friend (system was broken). i repaird them and i'm in love. I have now 4 beolab 6000 speakers and 2 beovox cx50 speakers. I run them on a harman/kardon avr350....😅 i want to buy a extra pair of 6000's for my beocenter. I want to start my own dealer some day, or my own audio brand with the inventions i did. When i'm in england and i'm nearby i would love to come visit this store😍. The dealer nearby me does not take me serious, they did not wanted to sell powerlink kabels because i was not a "real" b&o owner to them.........

Why won’t B&O put the Beolit 17 into the clothes of the Beosound 1? PLAY products are just full of drilled holes: A1, A2, M3, Beolit 17 are a few examples. The Beolit 17 form factor would be astonishing in a slightly more elegant design resembling something that of the Beosound 1-2.

Dear John, i have the Beoplay S3 which is a great small speaker with a huge lowrange driver and tweeter combo. Plays incredible clear sounds. Question is, is upgrading to Beosound 1 worth the price jump? Which is more expensive but has a smaller loweange driver. Of course the extra features I don’t count just the sound quality alone. Please help 😢

Hi Gerasimos good question I'm afraid the beosound 1 is no longer in the product range but you can upgrade to the Level which would be a fantastic improvement. regards Ian

Thanks, my A2 is playing up. when its running on battery power the base crackles for a little while and then it shuts down. It still runs fine on mains power at the moment. I've had it for a while, but I don't want to get another battery powered product. I'm looking for something small for the kitchen table to replace it. And they work with Multiroom, I can pair it with my A9!

B&O was never just overpriced Philips, they used to use a CD mechanism component from Philips in the CD players about 20 years ago and the old CRT TV's had a tube made by Philips about 15 years ago. It's just an odd myth about B&O from the past.

Hi Craig, the new BeoSound 1 has a nicer mid range than the 1st generation. BeoLit 17 has a little more low end grunt but the BeoSound 1 with Google has a more refined sound. It's really nice, pop in for a listen if you like. John.

Sadly my B&O budget is limited to an A1 - which I have now teamed with a second for a stereo pair - that makes a GREAT portable kit! Always have lusted after a Beogram 4000 turntable since I was kid to be honest ;)

It has Airplay 2 and works fine with Apple. You can also get it without the Google Voice Assistant if you don't need it. John
