Exactly! Not FDA approved ? Not peer-reviewed? The FDA and peer reviews often approve medicine based on how much they're paid. Studies are too small, like the covid-19 studies, maybe? How many doctor prescribed medicines can literally kill you. Lots. How many over the counter FDA approved medicines are dangerous, even lethal two children and fetuses. Lots.Actually, how many over the counter FDA approved medicines taken in an improper dosage can kill you too? Lots. Always do your own research, including any medicines these two doctors would prescribe.

I love Berberine, helps my digestion and is perfect for when I eat carbs. I’ve tested my blood sugar and it works! Doctors rely too much on “there’s not enough studies” to justify their synthetic drugs. Synthetics work but if a natural version works just as good why not use it first? Looks to me like these doctors are whipped by their employers, which I’ll remind you is not their patients or other doctors but the pharmaceutical reps that give them their check. Once you realize that it makes sense why some sleezy doctors never recommend natural alternatives over synthetic/RX/OTC drugs. Even synthetic vitamins are made by pharmaceutical manufacturers 😭 which wouldn’t be bad if they ran tests on natural substances but there’s no money in something that’s naturally occurring. Also makes sense why these greedy companies are trying to patent natural compounds. It’s crazy shit show and these doctors are just pawns in a much bigger game at play….

So many smug idiots in these comments. Supplements are unregulated and it's not the win you seem to think it is. They can be full of things like lead or even the actual prescription drugs you are so keen on avoiding. On top of that the prescription drugs added to the supplements come from countries with weak standards so those prescription drugs are full of adulterants as well. Maybe we should quit inspecting meat manufacturing plants and eggs and other foods as well. Before the FDA existed all kinds of unhealthy and even poisonous adulterants were added to food sold in grocery stores. When things aren't regulated they get cut with other ingredients to stretch them out or don't even have what they claim to at all. Just look at illegal drugs. Full of fentanyl as well as plenty of other adulterant BECAUSE THEY AREN'T REGULATED!!! Btw Metformin is cheaper than berberine and you know what's actually in it.

This is a very confusing vid, guys. I have done deep dives on both, but this vid isn't really educating anyone properly on either. Honestly, you should tell your viewers to consult their functional medicine doctor. There's a lot more to both of these options and everyone should do a deep dive. I don't think Ozempic is a safe option, and many people, like me, have issues absorbing regular Berberine. I wish there was an easy button, but balancing hormones and finding the right mix of supplements requires professional help, muscle testing and trial and error.

I'm a natural bodybuilding for 15 years am 30, and its harder to train all the time like my early 20s. I have 19 inch biceps naturally and am lean, not a 6 pack like my early 20s, but I lost 15lb in 5 weeks on berberine and I've tried thousands of dollars of herbs and natural supplements over the years. I take the reccomended dose in the morning and at night with meal, and I do cardio 5 times a week, my belly is flat again , I am getting vascukaeiry in my arms again and legs. Berberine with korean red ginseng and apple cider vinegar with cordyceps is what I take and have lost 15lb. I took the other things before and never have I looked leaner in recent years until I started berberine.

I'm sure they've studied the Newcastle diet that reverses T2 etc. I'm sure the side effects of Metforim are superior to that of Berberine but they practice medicine emphasis on practice and leave the real research for the scientists.

There are studies on berberine combined with black pepper from a medical university. Before I knew about needing to take it with pepper for greater effectiveness, I was just taking berberine with ginger. Man o Man did that work for me! At 5'4" I was 230 lbs and in size 18 dresses and pants about to have to go up to a 20. In 1 1/2 years I was down to an 8. And my first couple of bottles were from Walmart. That's how much pain I was in. I was desperate. By the time I was half way through my 2nd bottle regular customers were noticing my face want so puffy. Today my have had definition and visible bone structure where as before I looked like I had a giant fat smiley face.
